- The only slight issue we had was it was a bit too warm at night in our room (even with air con on full). We did visit in April which is an extremely hot month.

- Beautiful small boutique hotel, very stylish interior. - Located conveniently in between Siem Reap and the entrance to Angkor complex (about 15 min drive to each). - The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. - The food at the hotel restaurant is lovely. - Nice swimming pool to relax in after Angkor Wat tour. - I’d recommend spending a extra night in Siem Reap after your Angkor Wat tours - Siem Reap really surprised us with its Pub Street (lots of restaurants, bars, cool vibe and not seedy like some streets in Bangkok etc). We stayed for 2 days and did a sunset and sunrise tour of Angkor Wat (which the hotel organized for us), but I wish we stayed an extra day to explore Siem Reap more.

Found breakfast to be somewhat basic. It was a bit away from the city centre, but they offered free transport to the city.

We were picked up from the airport and from the moment we arrived, the staff were quite welcoming and pleasant. Every day when we came back, we were met with smiles and offered a cool drink. My wife was on a special diet, and the kitchen staff catered for her requirements.

From the pick-up at the airport, the welcome in the hotel (with fresh fruit, a little snack and wein) and the very nice place in the garden with pool... every thing was superb! The staff organized a Tuk-Tuk-Tour with a guide to the temples in in the evening a tour to the Pub Street (Night market and Night live ). The Angkor tour guide, Mr Nak, as well as the driver were very nice and forehanded. And there was also a very good Kmher massage available.

Construction works in next room during last two days lead to air pollution in our room (but no noise, no ongoing works in our presence). Breakfast quality was quite basic, could easily be improved. Minor imperfections like little shower leak and impractical parasols.

Outstanding compound with swimming pool and lots of green, close to Angkor sights and secluded from noise and dirt of Siem Reap. Very friendly and attentive staff, offering complimentary treats and drinks, anticipating and actively learning our preferences (certain juice, fruit etc.). We very much appreciated the extended checkout time (after our request) to 16:00h so we could shower after sightseeing and before our flight. Ideal for relaxed sightseeing of Angkor and surroundings. We would definitely stay there again.

Location is not near center of action. But it didn't really impact much, since we could take a Grab to get anywhere for a very reasonable price.

Service was great! Room is large and comfortable. Bathtub was really, really comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast was varied and good; also appreciated the snacks brought up to the room. Also appreciated the pickup from the airport, which was timely and very nice.

The property is a little further out (only about 10 mins by Tuk Tuk) than some other hotels but they provide a free service into town and a cheap return service, so it’s not at all an issue.

A bit of a cliche but true to say we were sad to say goodbye to the stafff

I loved everything about Shintana Saya and this is the easiest 10 I’ve ever given. We were picked up at the airport in a very swish car with reclining seats, given cold towels and coconut drinks for our journey. Our driver Thai was really friendly and informative about his country. When we arrived the staff came out to greet us. We were made to feel very special. The hotel is stunningly beautiful with great attention to detail in the decor and the planting. The gardens are so beautiful and well looked after. The hotel was one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in. The staff are all fabulous and work well together as a team. David the owner was often around and made a point of chatting and checking all was ok. Our room was huge - thank you David for the upgrade- and beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the sheets luxurious. We appreciated the complimentary gifts ( the wine was really good). The food and service in the restaurant was great and we enjoyed chatting to Panith on a morning when she brought our breakfast, she is so kind and friendly. Also Sothay who serves us in the evening. The chefs here are excellent and cook a range of international food well. Thank you to Renna who arranged a great trip for us and airport transportation - his communication with us before hand was always quick and reassuring. We spent the afternoons by the beautiful pool which was really tranquil and relaxing after busy mornings seeing the sights. Free tuk tuk into town was a great experience. In summary this hotel is first class - absolute luxury in both its ambience and service. We have never been so well looked after in a hotel. Thank you

We had the most amazing stay! Shintana Saya is a small boutique hotel that is focused on your experience; their incredible staff paid attention to every detail. The place is beautiful and exceptionally clean, the restaurant serves up amazing dishes at a decent price, the beds were beyond comfortable, the treats and turndown service never disappointed, and the massages were fantastic, too. All the employees work very hard to give the best experience to each guest. They provide free laundry service plus the tuk tuk service meant we never had to haggle over pick ups and drop offs which was nice. I've never had so many people call me and my whole family by name. Non stop comfort and care from start to finish.

Beautiful boutique property where we were made to feel like we were the only guests there. Spacious airy rooms, gorgeous pool and garden area and outstanding staff. Laundry and private airport pickup were included. Every detail was thoughtful and considered. An outstanding experience.
