How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The breakfast space is really small and the options very poor. The room is small and it has a weird layout.
The hotel is very well located closed to metro stations, city attractions but not in the middle. The room was cleaned and it has a good price. Everyday in the evening there are free cream samples at the reception. Additionally, the check in and check out was done with a robot and that made it easier and fast.

I did not like the small space to enter the room.

My expectation was higher for the facility, but the room had a strong smell, walls were stained and the bath tub was pretty old (not draining the water well).
The location is pretty good and the staff is lovely.

The breakfast was limited. I would've preferred warm baked beans. The poor breakfast put me off re-booking when I returned to Seoul later on in my tour of South Korea.
The hotel was very well located in the heart of Myeondong and close to the subway station. The rooms were clean, comfortable and were adequate for a short stay. The staff that I came across seemed polite and helpful.

I got a bit tired of the breakfast options after a few days. Maybe they could introduce some Korean food options for breakfast
The location was perfect. At the quieter end of the busy Myeongdong shopping district. The room size was compact so I suggest you don’t bring the huge suitcases!

The room was a bit small but I knew that ahead of time and we made it work for us :) There also isn't a closet but they have a rack to hang clothes on. I just asked for a few extra hangers. It looked like my clothes were in a boutique store when I hung them on the rack :)
The hotel was very clean. The breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was very exceptional. We arrived later in the evening around 9:30PM and there were still restaurants and shops open. The 7 eleven store across the street was good to for any extra snacks or necessities. The hotel cleaning staff was friendly and helpful too. My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. When we checked out they were able to hold our bags too because we had a later flight.

A lot of mosquito. The breakfast restaurant is a bit small, making it crowded. You may need wait outside for a bit before you are let in, or you must arrive earlier in the morning to avoid the rush. The rotation of the breakfast was limited, but good.
Located perfectly next to, but not on top of Myeongdong shopping street. Very ideal location! It is rather quiet in the area, with a 1 minute walk to where all the shopping, food, and the people starts. Great staff. Interesting hotel with its own character. Clean with good beds. TV was large. A 7-eleven right across the street for your snacking needs.

Obviously, checking in with the robots, and the robot delivering out room service item.. but they really are just novelties.. Room was very comfy, the breakfast was a bonus.. As was the laundry. The location was excellent,

They say this is a four star hotel in Google but it is a three star. There is minimal staff. The pillow is thin and you only get one. The towels are thin. Everything felt cheap.
The location is central in Myeong dong but off the busy streets so it wasn't noisy. The room is clean. The price is cheap so you get what you pay for.

Breakfast was more than enough to get you started for the day. The staff inside the breakfast space were so nice and friendly, too! It's actually my third stay at this property and some of the staff recognized me, which was sweet.

The room is quite small. There is no iron provided in the room and there is no proper cupboard to hang clothes and also insufficient hooks in the toilet to hang towels and clothes.
The property is located in a vicinity with lots of shops and restaurants. So it is very convenient to shop and find food.

Breakfast can get busy between 9am-10am but signs in the elevator very clearly advise of this so it's not a shock. Staff work very hard to get people in and out efficiently. The air con was sometimes a little loud during the night.
Loved the wetroom and mini bath, clean room, super friendly breakfast staff and food options good, comfortable size room for Seoul, very easy walking distance from exit 10 Myeongdong station and quick walk down the street to Myeongdong main streets but with the benefit of staying in a quieter area. 7/11 across the road. Was on the top floor (8) and had a lovely view of Seoul Tower and didn't have any issues getting the elevator quickly. Easy and quick check in and check out via the self service computers. 12pm check out which was amazing and luggage stored after check out without problem.
