How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Staff did not greet us when we checked it but straight up after they noticed us asked ‘passport?’. A simple hello and smile would go a long way. Also the hotel is not very soundproof, you can hear a lot, lightsleepers will have a tough time during high season

Better if western breakfast is offered. We r willing to pay extra for breakfast. Not used to korean breakfast with too much rice early in morning. I dont like room kitchen. No need. It would cause unnecessary bugs n smell.
Room is big enough. Clean beds.

Only 2 pillows which were too flat and soft. Hotel declined our request for additional pillows. It was so uncomfortable that we had to stack our own clothes beneath the pillows to be able to sleep. Hotel could also perhaps re-number their rooms (instead of adding alphabets to existing room numbers on the same floor) to better differentiate them. A slightly inebriated man pounded on our room door and rang our door bell at 3am.
Location is decent with convenient access to the lake, restaurants and bike rental shops; Gyeonpo Beach is a walkable distance away. Microwave and a big fridge are appreciated.

We had to wait a bit for our check in which was a bit annoying as we got there at an appropriate check in time
The location was great, close to a bus stop, close to the lake and the ocean, surrounded by bicycle hire places. I enjoyed going up to the rooftop and everything was clean and comfortable

Not many negatives, if anything it wasn't as esthetically pleasing as other places which but that's truly irrelevant.
It was quite practical and conveniently located. Rooms were spacious and clean. We appreciated the full bathroom. Has parking, washing machine and kitchen.

We were provided a sheet to say if we broke/take anything we would be charged a large amount of money. Obviously they have had customers who must have taken stuff from the room. We were a little paranoid that if we touched something we would be charged.
The hotel room was like an officetel, with a little kitchenette in the room. The bed was lovely, sheets were clean, and everything seemed new! The showerhead was excellent (rain showerhead) and amenities were provided. Lots of space to put bags and shoes for a 2 people (closet space).

The only con of our trip is the hotel door is really noisy when it slams and you can hear foot steps.
The hotel is really good! the hotel is clean and it is close to the beach. You don't have to worry about food because there are plenty of restaurants around and the price is very reasonable. We will be back hopefully next year ^^

Floor noise wasn't pleasant. Sounds constant stair foot noise. And upper level foot noises. Was a bit disappointing.
Location was great. Short walk to River walking track and short walk to the beach. Room was clean and great hot shower facilities. Easy Parking.

We booked two rooms. 4 people in room and 3 in other room. 1.we came around 11am and official check in is supposed to be at 3pm so we asked to check-in early but they said for every hour before 3pm you have to pay extra cost per hour,which was more than room cost itself. 2.in the 4 people room on booking.com.it was supposed to be 1 double bed,1 single bed and 1 coach, but we found 1 double bed only and 2 sleep on floor sheets (not even mattress).Furthermore, the location of 2 sleep on floor sheets was away from AC and in bad ventilation location. 3. They don't provide any toothbrush,hair brush, or any self care items, and they don't provide complimentary beavarges (tea bags& sugar),which is strange because all hotels provide it 4. Their resutrant is closed

Air conditioner made some noise. The channel selection had no English programing but that was ok, I was not there to watch TV.
I was told that I had no view but I had a lovely view of the mountains.
