How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Maybe a better selection of food and drink available in the hotel, but you have the airport to look around and find something up to 9pm.
Very easy to find and check into. Staff were helpful with good information, and the room, while small, is perfect for an overnight stay. Facilities were clean and everything I needed was there.

First of all - no windows, so if you get claustrophobic it might not be for you. Luckily, this wasn’t an issue for me at all. Secondly, and this only a minor quibble, there weren’t ‘smart’ toilets. I got my fix elsewhere, but meh. The hairdryer kept overheating every couple of minutes. Finally, when did my ‘idiot check’ under the bed before checking out, I found a fair amount of grot under the bed from previous guests. It does seem like nitpicking, and overall I did enjoy the experience, but just wanted to point out my small issues.
I really appreciated the ease of using this hotel while staying over for an enforced layover - my plane landed about 8pm and continued at around 11am the next day. As a solo traveller, I couldn’t be bothered saving money by staying at a nearby hotel as I didn’t need much space, but following an 11 hour flight And ahead of a 14.5 hour second leg I consider a proper bed an essential. The bed was large and incredibly comfy, so job done on that score. Another plus is the great shower, which I used immediately to wash off the previous flight. Thirdly, the quiet was fantastic. I woke up naturally around 8.30 am in plenty of time for my morning connection.

I've stayed here many times. It is exceptionally convenient and comfortable. Great bed, good shower and air-conditioned rooms. A perfectly suitable oasis for mid-journey.

Bathroom small no hooks for towels, see through the glass facing room?
Bed comfortable , close to restaurants , short walk to smoking lounge, check in representative told us our flight was delayed and told us our time we had. Great to rest and shower , even got a coupon for buffet style meal just outside hotel doors other fast food was just across our walkway.

Transit Hotel Incheon is an excellent option for those with a long layover. The room is very comfortable, perfect for resting before the next flight. It has everything you need for a short and convenient stay inside the airport.

The room is tiny. However, this hotel is meant for just one night stay over for transitioning, so can’t complain about the room size.
It’s location is perfect. It is right in the middle of the airport gates. Perfect for an overnight layover. If you are staying just for one night and fly out the next day.

Not many choices for dining nearby the transit hotel. The hotel itself has no shortcomings.

Everything was fine, but we wish there had been a mini-fridge to store some food. Also, the Matina restaurant supposedly opened at 7am but there was a line of 60-70 people even before 7am, and I noticed people seemed to be inside, already eating. The restaurant is ridiculously expensive at $45/adult, and the Transit Hotel coupon doesn't help very much. Much better would be a coupon for the food court, where we got reasonable and delicious meals.
Very convenient location. It took us a while to figure out where to go after getting off our plane from Japan. Once we went through the security etc., the directions to gate 252 etc. were clear enough. The staff were polite and helpful, and the room was comfortable. It was a great relief to get a room since we had a 12 hour layover between flights.

checking in and out was very quick and easy. The hotel room is quiet, clean and has a lovely shower and comfortable beds. The location is excellent, right by the terminal, so we were able to get breakfast and do some shopping and come back to the hotel very easily.
