The only main suggestion I would have is to please add English explanation of what the dish on the menu is + add images of all the wonderful plants/ingredients that make up the dish in question and an image of what the actually prepared meal looks like. This will be super helpful and even more awesome. And also consider setting up a small gym, that would be great too.

Absolute delight. Each and every staff member: reception, lovely Doctors, therapists, support staff, chef - all make guests feel so welcome and they accommodate requests which I really appreciated. It was a true retreat. Silence, goodness, care and kindness. I was almost in tears when on my last day I saw a beautifully prepared special bath😍🌸🌺🌼 The Doctors make you feel truly cared for, take so much attention and address the condition/matters youd like help with and recommend suitable treatmen plan. All the support staff in restaurant so helpful and the fact that the chef keeps coming out and meets the guests is so wonderful. Therapists also lovely, gentle people.

The hotel rooms has the best views to the ocean and Cape Weligama, so you can just watch it for hours from your balcony. The resort is ideal for aurvedic treatments, but its better to come during cooler months and the place has wast open spaces withour AC. The location if perfect for escapes and meditation. Also the resort offers free yoga and meditation classes with the teacher Emil Mendis who has profound knowledge of yogic science and you can ask him different questions.

We came to this great hotel by chance when searched for a place to stay in Weligama. After two days of pure relaxation and amazing treatments, we feel so good. Most of people come here for two weeks Ayurvedic retreat- hopefully we’ll come back for this full experience soon. Cannot explain the calm atmosphere in words. Lovely place.

The massages probably overpriced for the area.

There were occasional power losses, but the hotel has a generator, so the power outage wasn’t a problem. Loss of power in Weligama is common during storms, so this isn’t a fault of the hotel.

The Ayurvie is very close to Jungle Beach. The location is absolutely amazing.

Water pond nearby is probably a source of mosquitos - I would offer nets to guest in the future. A minor detail - shampoo and conditioner on offer are impossible to get out of ceramic vessels - had to use my own :)

Location is peaceful and a great bathing beach with a Reef Point break is nearby. Not essentially a surfing destination but a retreat and ideal for solo travellers to take time off for themselves.

We didn’t dislike anything about the stay and would have loved to stay longer

Our stay at Ayurvie Weligama is one for the memory books for sure. This stay was beyond our expectations! Me and a friend stayed only for one night but would have loved to stay longer. We were greeted with flowers and had a massage treatment already booked for us before sunset yoga and the most delicious vegetarian and seafood dinner. What definitely made our stay is the clean facilities and the nicest most friendly and helpful staff! A big plus is that we also got to check out late for free and enjoy included sunrise yoga, breakfast, a massage treatment and lunch on the check-out day. The room was big and the balcony had the greatest view over the ocean, pool and palm trees.

It’s a little far off from everything else in weligama and in front of the hotel is a huge puddle of dirty rain water full of bacteria. We had to walk 15 minutes in another direction every time we left the hotel to go somewhere since we didn’t drive everywhere.

The property is very nice including all you need from pool to access to the beach and very nice rooms.
