We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomIt was still out of season when we stayed so the pool and restaurant were not open which was a shame... however they looked nice and sure when open in full season could be fully appreciated. The hotel also gave us a free upgrade to a better room with AMAZING views which we were very pleased with.
Wow, what views. We stayed up on the top floor with floor to ceiling window overlooking jungle... it was an AMAZING sight to wake up to each morning. As the hotel is a little out of the city it is VERY QUIET, just nature sounds at night. Although out of town, its still an easy walk down the hill and around the lake into the city... would definitely recommend a tuk tuk back up the hill though! We're off to stay there again when we're back in Kandy.

Sri Lankathey told us that booking not confirmed, but I have booked using bookin.com mobile app. they told me to go to another one, on the rain. we went somewhere else that the owner searched for us. but there where no any response from that accommodation also. so we came back to the hotel. they offered us a deluxe room on the top of the hotel. that was awesome. satisfied. but this was my 10 or more stay on the same hotel. they did not gave any attention though. please you have to be more friendly and helpful than this.

Sri Lankabathroom was not cleaned and terrible. Some one vomited there last night and hotel didn't clean it properly. Smelling badly. The metras was broken one and we are still suffering back pain because of it. We specially requested early check in at 4am and hotel send me a confirmation via booking. com and mentioned it will be free of charge. However when I called to hotel they told me that it is impossible and maximum they could give room at 8am. If I'm not agree they asked me to cancel my booking. Overall 1 star out of 10 ☹️☹️☹️

We are writing this review with the experience of our 3 months stay only in the Kandy view hotel. We are still full of emotions and every day we are missing our stay there. After 2 days of booking, it turned into 3 months and the Kandy view hotel became our new home. It is one of the best budget hotels with everything that you need and during our stay, we never faced any problems. The rooms and washrooms were so clean and the views were so magnificent. The terrace with the option of having food cooked by the owner is the best place for chilling, sitting, relaxing and enjoying the view of nature. The location of the hotel is very great surrounded by trees, palms, and flowers, it's a silent and very safe place to live (the hotel has also CCTV cameras). It's not so far from the city centre so you can walk there with a beautiful lake view and temple. Just 100 metres away you can find small supermarkets, bakeries and restaurants. The hotel is also offering massage, you can also use their refrigerator to keep things inside. The best things are the room service provided by this hotel. Mr Ajit is the most generous, kind and honest man. He made our stay so comfortable, helping us in everything that he could, he is our best friend and we still miss him. And the owner of the hotel is also a very kind and great man. Very polite and helpful, trying to help you in every situation and provide you with the best comfort you can have. We also had one kitty 🐈 as our friend, she was always coming to the hotel to meet us. As we saved her from the roof, It was hard to say goodbye to her and all the surroundings we were living in but we will come back again and will stay longer.
