The corridors are unending, and it's sometimes confusing. The staff, though very sweet and obliging, are not well trained, and get quite confused. The menu is very limited.

The colonial ambience, the commanding location, with great views out to sea, and private beach access. The swimming pool deck is also very inviting.

Poor maintenance of rooms, poor housekeeping, poor beach side assistance, poor conference assistance, no value for money, poor parking facilities, poor reception, sleepy staff etc.,

Location and breakfast menu and staff especially Ms. Hasika...

Hotel needs investment. Mould a huge problem, smells musty. The area isn't that nice either. Better off to go to the south coast.

    size of room. Staff.

High room prices based on previous charm not current situation

    see above

the food and location were superb. The hotel is going through a return and parts are tired and in need of repair. The foyer was leaking water from above the whole stay which took some of the charm away and felt a bit unsafe Therefore the price should have been reduced whilst the hotel re-finds its past reputation. I hope it does.

The hotel feels ‘tired’ blinds in the room didn’t all work properly, disappointed that I had to ring 3 times finally speaking to the duty manager and waiting an hour and a half before an in house menu was sent to my room . Had to ask for tea bags on arrival as there was only one in the room .

I have been to this hotel many times over the past 60 years . Location is stunning

A short stay but poor value for money and disappointing because the hotel could be so much more.

The hotel is way past its prime and large parts are boarded up and in disrepair. The aircon in the room was barely functioning. The staff had poor English (it is an English colonial hotel) and the service was extremely slow.

It is a grand old hotel which I imagine was magnificent at one point.
