Le Bella 1912 sounds like a charming boutique hotel with a prime location in Galle Fort, right across from the Old Dutch Hospital and a 2-minute walk from the lighthouse. Its cozy vibe, nice breakfast, and appealing bar counter add to the experience, with unique pencil sketches by the bar staff adding a personal touch. Lakmal and Wageesha seem to be friendly and welcoming, enhancing the stay. The outdoor area stands out as a highlight, and it offers good value for money.

From the picture on the internet, had a bit higher expectations on the meal than what we got as the breakfast. For the price an average meal. Would be better if somehow can control the smell from the bathroom. Not a strong one, but smelling a bit. Had to pay twice for the price marked on the water bottle which bought separately.

Le belle is in a great location, staff were all lovely and very attentive with drink on arrival and breakfast included in the price. Walls are very thin, with one of our windows bordered up with cardboard. Bathroom fine but not in the best condition! Paying for the location - it was good for one night stay!!

Le Bella 1912 far exceeded all my expectations,as truly loved this hotel.... Location was excellent,and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable occasion.... An above basic hotel,but value for money and a clean hotel in the heart of Galle... Also a special thank you to their manager,Dilruk.... Who always went the extra mile,and greeted us with a warm smile and a warm heart.... Absolutely loved this hotel !!! Ps..... Try the coffee in the bar downstairs,you will not be disappointed !!!!

Bathroom quite small. Like most rooms elsewhere not enough places to hang damp clothes or towels.

Incredibly nice staff, very comfortable bed, great breakfast, very good location, A/C working perfectly. The bathroom could use a bit of renovation, but even so, it didn't bother us. Be aware that there are quite steep stairs to get to the rooms.

All in all a very enjoyable experience. Staff was very friendly and polite. The rooms were clean and AC & fan worked perfectly. Great location, very close to Galle Fort etc. Summed up, just what you would expect based on price & pictures. 👍👍

Small issues - nothing big! Bathroom had some plumbing issues and the floor was always wet. Staff provided extra towels. Also electric outlets in unusual spots? But location and staff far surpassed expectations!!

Although nice and clean it could do with updating in the rooms. It could have had somewhere to hang some clothes and plug things in/ put things next to the bed eg a lamp. Funny things: A kettle was provided but the plug was not compatible with the sockets. A tv was provided but had no electrical feed or ariel but as we weren’t here to watch tv that didn’t matter.

It was in a good location and attractive. The staff were great, friendly and helpful. There was a downstairs bar/cafe area.

Only thing what I didn't like was that we booked a room with balcony but there is actually not balcony! The room entrence is from balcony but it's not private and no chairs and table as room photos showed!

They have their own Exchange Rate and do not follow the current rate. No great view from the room.

Cheapest place inside the fort but it was also the most expensive place we stayed at during our 4 week Sri Lanka trip but it was worth it. Beautiful rooms. Great location. Very helpful staff. Got us transport for very cheap to udawalawe.

Staff and the meals were good. Only concern was mosquitos were in the room, although it sealed.. rooms were bit small than expected. Other than that all ok. However, comparing to other places inside galle fort, price was very reasonable with available facilities.

The room was spacious but had a strange smell coming from the toilet at night, which affected our comfort. Additionally, as we were leaving very early in the morning, we were disappointed to find that no takeaway breakfast was available.

Labella 1912 has a great location, making it convenient for exploring the area. The breakfast was decent, although we had to ask for some coffee, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, it’s a good option for a one-night stay, but there’s room for improvement.

Perfect location, very close to all shops and restaurants...even close to the town beach to have a swim in the sea to cool off. Our room was very comfortable with a/c and a kettle to make hot drinks. The bed was comfy too. There was a balcony we could sit out on late at night when it was cooler. Breakfast and coffee were good and the whole feel of the restaurant and bar area which opened out onto the road was really pleasant and had a nice holiday vibe. Best of all was the lovely manager, Dilruk - always smiling and charming and so helpful. He works so hard and does everything he can to look after you beautifully. Thankyou Dilruk! You made our stay at Bella Inn delightful!

If you are looking for a budget small hotel this is in a great location for a 1 night stay. Clean. Its not the kind of place you would stay at for a long stay but certainly adequate and comfortable for a very short stay. Good friendly staff.
