Room missed a water boiler; shower was in bathtub with water hose inconveniently stretched from tap to “shower head hanging point”; room was quite noisy as door does not close tightly and corridor is narrow and echos voices.

We had booked the room last minute, so we got the very last room in the hotel. Our room was facing the entrance or the exit of the kitchen and a small courtyard wih garbage bins. We could hear the noise from the kitchen and also the smells. We fully understand that somebody has to get the last room, which often is the least nicest but then it should not be at the same rate and all the other rooms which have view to the river or the forest

The tiles in the bathroom are extremely slippery. We were a young couple with no worries about balance in general, but both of us had trouble when the bathroom got even a little bit damp from a shower. I cant imagine how some of the more elderly guests (and there were a lot of them when we were there) navigate them. However, the receptionist told us that the rooms are being refurbished so probably the tiles are probably the first thing to go.

Huge room, if a bit dated looking, overlooking the lovely little secluded valley with a lovely river and a castle perched on top of the hill. The bed was large and comfortable. Breakfast had a lot of options to choose from . Parking spaces were plenty. Had dinner once in the hotel, at first the steak was very much overcooked, so we sent that back, the second one was better but not medium rare either. Too bad because the quality of meat was good and side dishes and starters were nice.

Both the breakfast buffet and restaurant menu were wonderfully delicious. The surrounding area had great hiking trails and tourist attractions, but it was remote enough to also enjoy a peaceful getaway. We brought our 0 and 3 year old children with and they were they were very accommodating with our needs.

Room had no airconditioning and with near 30 degrees it was hot at night in the room. So you open de windows, but than you get insects and noise from geese and men maintaining ground with noisy mowers. Safe dit not work. For 187,50 for a room including breakfast, the breakfast was below par, limited bread choice, fake orange juice. No possibility for a fried egg A road-sign indicating the place would help finding it

The breakfast and products are too basic... Coffee is also not very good. It would have been nice to see more bio and alternative options (gluten and lactose free, nice granola, etc.).

A very nice hotel in a beautiful location - nature, river, a beautiful walk to the castle! Breakfasts and dinners with a view. Very relaxing and calm, not too many people.

We stayed in one of the cottages and found the shower water pressure to be low. We hope that is not the way it is normally, however we had such a great time, this was a minor issue for us.

The private and relaxing location was perfect for a mid-week getaway. It was exceptional. Very quiet and lovely and the staff were very attentive to us. A wonderful stay.
