There was some confusion over where the robes for our hammam would be found, but someone eventually got some for us. It wasn't a big problem.

The staff, especially those involved with serving breakfast and dinner, were absolutely fantastic, with a special mention of the tall, skinny Mohammad, who was lovely. Also, the staff in the spa were wonderful. My husband and I had a wonderful hammam and massage right in the privacy of the riad, and I highly recommend it. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it.

Everything: location, the Riad, our room, the staff, the Hamman and massage experience. Highly recommend Riad Karnela. The location in the Medina is excellent. Our room had a beautiful terrace with incredible views of Marrakech. The staff went the extra mile. It was my birthday and my sister contacted them by email requesting a surprise for me and the whole team were exceptional, they made my day very special. We enjoyed their Hamman and 1h massage, definitely a great experience.

It’s was quaint and friendly staff. The manager and his sister ran the Riad. It was most delightful. I had the best time. The staff attended to all my needs with such effortless kindness. I travelled with my best friend who stayed at another Riad. His first impression, like mine, was ‘ We luv this quaint place’

the only thing was that it can be a bit noisy in the morning and door doesn’t stop much noise from coming in but I suppose that’s because they are trying to keep the character of the hotel original.

We liked everything

We were at Riad Karmela in February 2024. The Karmela riad is very beautiful, comfortable and very well located, just a few minutes from the city's main attractions. The management team and staff are very attentive and helpful. We always had dinner at the riad, after a day of exploring the city, because the food at dinner, typically Moroccan, is very good. The breakfast, a mix of international and Moroccan, is also very good. We really enjoyed it and will be back with the kids.

I think this is just becuase it is morocco but things were a bit dusty! Also we were not expecting it but our riad also had a kitchen in the ground floor which was accesssed by the staff on a regualr basis. This meant that we didnt have 100% privacy during our stay there but to be honest the staff were not really in our way.

Riad Karmela was great! The staff were excellent and were always available. we were staying in the mini princess 3 room riad. Breakfast was very good each morning pick up and drop off at the airport was also very convenient Walking distance to most places as well

The place is wonderful. Located in the center of Medina Marrakech. Walking distances to many main attractions of the Medina. Room nice and cozy. Friendly and helpful staff. They also offer daily tours to nearby cities for a fair price.

Nice local living in local location to experience the real Marrakech ! Rooms were great had heating issues but the staff fixed it. After staying in few other Riad’s this was the best and highly recommend, clean, and nice decor.
