I really liked the friendly staff and the owners, who lived in that riad. Super good welcome and explanation of the rules. Cool rooftop terrace and good location. Interior design made you feel at home. Our room was rather small, but as you don’t spend your day there, it didn’t bother me.

There is not much privacy due to the very nature of riads, but this one in particular.

The location is great, and so are the staff, interior design and the terrace. Breakfast was smaller than usual, but tasty nonetheless, so that's still a plus in my book.

The Riad is perfect located within the Medina so everything is in walking distance. The atmosphere is very familiar and we felt so homely. The furnishing is very beautiful and the rooms are absolutely clean. The roof terrace offered an amazing 360° view and you can enjoy spectaculare sunsets and sunrises. The owner of the Riad are very friendly and helps with everything you need.

Tasteful and authentic. The French couple have good hand for making this a very special stay. The single rooms are only 10 qm, bear that in mind, but the old houses are like that. They made the best out of the ancient structure. There is no bathroom door, but since this is a single room nobody cares 😁 The information you get via WhatsApp link and its very handy like this, all very modern.

Beautifully contemporary styled riad in a very central location. Quiet, spacious and sense of calm and serenity. Owners and all staff were friendly and helpful with the balance of conversation and interest yet unobtrusive with our family time. We had two rooms for our teenage boys and ourselves both had lovely facilities, comfy large beds, strong showers, we also had a small bath and balcony style view onto the side street below. Rooftop breakfast was great and the view truly stunning. We were also allowed to use the roof relatively late at night for a quiet drink with friends.

everything! this riad was the definite highlight of our stay in Morocco. very tastefully decorated, so much thought has gone into every detail. the shower was amazing, hot and great pressure. delicious breakfast. incredible view from the rooftop. perfect location. hosts were extremely helpful, booking restaurants and transfers for us. I cannot recommend this riad highly enough.

Our stay in Riad Lyon-Mogador has been very good. The hosts were very welcoming, prepared, ready to help in case of emergency(which was needed when my phone had just crashed) and to show around. This Riad was beautiful and unique, the room was good (although the doors of our room need a little love to function optimally), the shower was good and the riad was very cosy and relaxing. The roof terrace was outstanding and the location was central and deep into the small but amazing Medina of Essaouira. The price is fair for this great Riad and the preparedness and personal attention of the hosts definitely added to unforgettable memories of our time in Essaouira. We definitely would recommend a stay in this Riad.

1. Entrance accessible for wheelchair, but to get upstairs only by stairs. 2. The wifi isn't accessible on the rooftop terrace.

We spent 1 night here for family vacation in Marocco (August, 2022). Our experience is wonderful. I do love the smell inside the Riad. Don't forget to bring a jacket since the Riad is near the beach. It is very cold. Everything is in walking distance from the Riad. City tax will be collected by the host, 25 MAD per person (more than 12 years old). 1. The host is very kind, nice, and helpful. 2. The location is inside the medina. It can only be reached by walking. If you come by car, you must park your car outside the gate. Mogador has 4 gates. Everything is in walking distance. 3. The breakfast is good. We have traditional Moroccan's bread, hot milk for the kids, jams, butter, fresh fruits salad, fresh orange juice, and croissant. 4. The room is as described. The size is okay. The bed and pillows are comfortable. The bathroom is clean with its amenities (towels, shampoo, soap, parfum. The hot water works perfectly. 5. The check-in is fast. They just need the adults' passports and fill a paper. 6. The rooftop is top. The view is amazing. 7. The Riad has 4 floors and everything's very beautiful, well-decorated, and cozy. 8. Wifi is accessible inside the building and free. 9. No need ac since the weather is cold, I am not sure in the winter.

Room was a little small but this is to be expected from a Riad inside the Medina.

The hosts were extremely helpful with reccomendations. The Riad is amazing and in a great location. Breakfast is really good and changes each day.
