Could have provided better basics in kitchen and bathroom like dish soap, oil, soap, dishrack, etc. Drying racks or hooks for bathing suits and robes, etc. Small stuff only, not much wrong here!

View from balcony was exceptional providing nice breeze and located as to not be too hot and provide great view of treetops, the bay and fabulous sunsets. Beautifully kept pool which was kept always clean and ready for almost, private use.

For a fully equipped kitchen found the pots and pans and utensils were lacking. As well, the cupboard space was quite limited.

The water in the shower didn't get very hot but, considering the extreme heat during our stay, it was adequately warm.

Bungalows Arena Dorada is in a perfect location, just about a block from Playa La Ropa. The infinity pool was pristine and the room we stayed in was exceptionally clean. Staff were nice and extremely helpful. They offered maid service almost every day (most places don't do that anymore). The amenities (dishes, silverware, cups/glasses, towels, etc) weren't fancy but completely sufficient for the two of us. They even had cable tv that offered a number of channels with english speaking programs. We had fun bing watching NCIS.

The rooms are great, 3 rooms total: living room/kitchen, bedroom, washroom. The pool area was nice and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the apartment quite nicely furnished. It was great having a big fridge and kitchen (lightly stocked with plates, cups, silverware, etc)

Internet in the unit is non-existent, but the common area and pool area is good. Kitchen ware is lacking but staff very helpful when you ask.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool was cleaned everyday. Nice and quiet most of the time, very relaxing, nice breeze and can even hear the waves from La Ropa. Short walk to see the sunset on the beach.

Only one restaurant really close. It was good but expensive. The beach restaurants were three hundred meters away. They were good but closed early

The room simply wasn't clean/ed...and clearly hadn't been properly-cleaned in a good while. I advised the management post-departure and was assured that this would be addressed proactively going forward. There are/were non English speaking junior staff on-site, but no central point person as such. This is not necessarily a negative in and of itself, but in light of the cleanliness issue I reckon some supervisory presence would go a long way.

This property is nice overall with some obvious stand-out features. It is/was largely occupied by friendly older Canadian long-stayers = a quiet, friendly environment. The proximity to the beach is hard to beat...perhaps impossible for the price. No breakfast is/was available on-site. However, the restaurant next door (El Vigia) has a downright spectacular breakfast menu in a lovely setting at very fair prices! In fact, access to that rest./hotel really compliments this place well overall.

Had to go to pool for wifi. Room was not very clean when we arrived. No dish towels, dirty dish sponge. Pots and pans need to be replaced, no bbq area. Listing says no kids but there were noisy kids staying there.
