Breakfast could be improved

It was a perfect stay. Holbox is so beautiful, and the hotel is on the beach. We liked also the fact that it is 15 minutes from the village, so it was quieter and more clean. The rooms were big and clean, the staff responsive and kind, the swimming pools amazing, the beach facilities very comfortable. I strongly recommend it

-be aware if you check out early there is no option for breakfast -our experience with food from the menu wasn’t good. The nachos were not good.

Expensive bikes. Breakfast was the exact same on all days with very limited options, and on each day most things ran out before 10.30am - which was the time when the buffet was open till.

Spectacular. This property is on the best stretch of beach on the island as they keep it clean from the seaweed daily. Two beautiful pools. Great free breakfast. Staff were amazing- not English is mas y menos so have your google translate ready. Brand new property and a short 12 min walk to town but means it’s quiet. 100% the only place I’d stay again.

The entrance doors to the rooms were super thin and hardly blocked out any hallway noise. Also the walls in-between rooms are also very thin so overall between the thin doors and walls it was very noisy in mornings and at night when other guests were leaving for the day or returning. It wasn't a huge ordeal, and by the second night I was used to the noises. Also the on-site restaurants food was pretty bland and boring, the servers and cooks were amazing and professional and so nice, just the food was a little off putting. Let's just say I only ate there once on my trip.

Breakfast was pretty uninspired and I’ve had better in hostels here in Mexico. It’s ok with fruit, yoghurt pancakes, eggs etc but for the price you pay for the hotel it’s definitely below standard and lacks the detail and care. Hotel does overall feel somewhat overpriced for what it is compared to other places on the island so you do pay for the location but a good option if your budget isn’t for the more upmarket hotels on this side of the beach.

The garden, pools and sun bed areas on beach were great as is the location in the nicest part of the beach with beautiful water and less hotels etc. so it’s nice and quiet both during daytime and at night while still only an easy 15 minute walk into the centre of town. The rooms are big and clean with good aircon and Wi-Fi but they do lack any charm and could be any standard business hotel anywhere in the world which is a bit of a shame. Staff is friendly and nice but it’s definitely not your 5 star service here. I didn’t need it but if you’re after bar service at beach etc this is not the place. It seems slightly cheaper than the other hotels in this part of the beach though, but that also means less service.

We did not fully rested at night because of the mosquilots but I guess this is something impossible to avoid. The main thing we did not like was the breakfast. Probably one of the worst we had in the last year. However, if you pay for lunch or dinner, the food is Ok, but overpriced as most of the hotels in Mexico.

The private beach is breathtaking, the area is very quiet and not too far from the centre. Area is very very safe so easy to walk at night.

Only one improvement would be to offer another vegan/vegetarian option at breakfast

The hotel exceeded my expectations by a significant amount! I was initially put off by the pictures and the dark grey room and almost didn’t book, but I am SO glad that I did - the pictures do not do this venue justice at all. It is absolutely perfect! The bedrooms are modern with good facilities and wi-fi. The staff are wonderful and always trying to help, the location is incredible (right on the beach so you can enjoy your food on the beach) with other local bars and restaurants nearby and a short walk from the centre. Punta Mosquito is also just a short walk away & is probably the nicest beach I’ve ever seen (though it’s remote and has no facilities if you’re wanting those). The grounds are beautifully kept and well presented. Will certainly go back.

Location for a quick bite in the town was a bit far, but manageable, (and the beach location really the best in Holbox ) for me the pillows were horrible, but I like a feather pillow , so some people might like a big more solid pillow.

Beach location was fantastic!! Front desk staff was lovely and helpful . Room was simple but spacious , AC worked great, shower was large, rain head, great. Hot water, fridge/freezer . And WIFI was probably the best I’ve had in Holbox in over 4 years. Good hearty breakfast. 2 pools.

Some people on the staff were not very cheerful (but some were very friendly).

Excellent location, a little far from the city center (which we didn't really want to go to anyway due to the flooded streets) but close to the very beautiful sandbank. The two swimming pools are very beautiful, and the beachside restaurant as well. The rooms are simple but clean.
