This hotel is gorgeous but it truly looks abandoned. I feel like the owners should invest a little bit in it and it would be 1000x better. The pools are visibly deteriorated and don’t look very appealing, the wood in the whole hotel is old and chipped, a little bit of care would definitely go a long way!

The staff is amazing, Nuria helped us with everything we needed and more, I cannot thank her enough. There were also kitties at the hotel and a doggy, which I loved! She showed us around, gave us tips and provided all she could. The hotel is beautiful and the location is great!

The location was on the rough part of the bay. The room was quite worn down Only one road in and out which is quite rough. Only one of these can be actually fixed. But would be nice with a little upgrade Not set up for handicap or disabled folks Animal friendly

Loved the view the staff was super helpful from booking to the end of the stay. Loved the intimate environment. We were celebrating a birthday and they set up balloons In The room. It was so sweet and nice.

The huge issue is its location, not only is it pretty far from the good parts of Tulum, the taxi are also very expensive, and worst of all the road to get to the hotel is the absolute worst road I have ever seen in my life. It is so bad that one of our taxis bringing us back (for an already horribly expensive price) refused to continue midway through, tried to make us pay double, and threatened to have the police come and arrest us if we did not pay double. We eventually managed to get out of the taxi by paying him more than originally agreed, and had to walk 20 minutes in the dark. The taxi number was 1144, avoid him at all cost

I wish the personal pools were heated since they are in the shade most of the day and don’t receive much warmth from the sun, beds are a bit hard but everyone has their personal preference, room service leaves an envelope daily for a tip which is absolutely reasonable and tip is not required but we were not expecting it daily so we requested our rooms not to be cleaned every day as we had not prepared to budget for it, also a bit of a drive to get to hotel through a very bumpy backroad but that’s not really the hotels fault or can fix alone

Beautiful location, kind staff, great restaurant (especially the tacos and surf and turf burrito) upstairs public pool accessible 24 hours a day which was nice and the sun kept them pretty comfortably warm, walkable beach was great as well, the included breakfast was great and 1 complimentary drink as soon as you arrive

Rooms and facilities have taken quite a battering from the weather - we were quite happy but do not anticipate facilities in perfect repair. The beach is not for swimming - even out of seaweed season too rocky for entering the water but plenty of great places nearby.

Really friendly staff at reception and restaurant who did all possible to create a great stay. Quiet location well off the Tulum beaten track - not for everyone but perfect for us. Good breakfast included. Nice pools overlooking the sea. Turtles came up on hotel beach to lay eggs at night. Private cenote a lovely place to spend the afternoon and easy to explore the Yucatan area from this base.

Because you are close to the sea, the rooms can get very humid so be aware. The AC works really well so that helps to counter that.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed to be in a quiet place with only the noise of the ocean. It is conveniently located 20 minutes away from Tulum Pueblo where you can find great cheap options for lunch and dinner. The view was fantastic. We had the room with a private plunge and enjoyed it. However there are two pools accessible to everyone, one next to the restaurant and one on a rooftop. They have parking on site which is very convenient - if you want to explore, it is better to have a car and we heard that taxis are very expensive in Tulum. They also have a private cenote, which is a 20-min drive, but free of charge for hotel customers (vs 150 ou 200 pesos for any cenote in Tulum). They even provided water shoes for it.

I wish the beach seaweed could be cleaned up. The Hotel Mereva down the street has a beatuful clean beach. Also, I wish there were more plants around the hotel to make it more tropical/jungle-like.

The building used to look very nice but now it's neglected, outdated and the room was a bit dirty, we had cockroaches in the room. As soon as we let the staff know, they took immediately care of it.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is on a private street with a guarded entrance. The hotel guests have free entry to a private cenote, if you are lucky, you are the only ones using it on that day. The hotel pools are also nice.

There is nothing special about the place. A lot of stuff is kinda old and the pool at your room is just kinda weird. Its a quiet area but you have to drive 3 km om a bumpy road to get there. Also you cant swim on the beach which is not a nice as the beaches more south. Wifi was not great.

The hotel in general was "nice enough". The ved was good, the breakfast was good and if course the view with the beach is great.

Many of the staff especially at night does not speak English Location is very far from centro and other places and taxis took alot with no Uber, there are no restaurants, supermarket or atm near by Restaurant closes at 10 pm with no room service At night gets very dark and no lights on (scary) No gym, a hotel ranked 5 star should do better

The beach just has the view! You cannot swim here! The location is awful! It’s away from everything and you have to have your own car otherwise you’ll stuck in the hotel! Even the road to get here is rocky! The breakfast wasn’t self service and you have a few options! Ex. Fruit or juice!!!! You cannot have both! The first day they gave us both but they mentioned you had to pay but it’s ok for this time!!!!

The ocean view rooms are perfect! You can enjoy the view but you cannot swim in the ocean! The beach is rocky and no one tell you until you get the room! The staff were so friendly specially Nuria, she helped us a lot and had a great suggestions for us!
