I really did not like that the breakfast buffet was not available for the first day we were there as there were not many guests checked in. I paid for a good breakfast not only because I love hotel breakfast buffets but because the reviews mentioned the breakfast here is very good. Instead we had to select something from their fixed breakfast menu (ala carte, not much to choose from). The next day, buffet was available as more guests were checked in, but the spread wasn't as great as the reviews said. Was quite disappointed.

The room was nice and cold. Coffee capsule machine worked well. Bedsheets were clean and neat upon arrival. Parking was always available on hotel grounds (behind).

Bathroom is huge, and they separated the shower area and toilet with individual sliding glass door. This design will allow different family members to use toilet and shower at the same time and thus save a lot of time. However, the sliding glass door at the toilet was stuck and unable to close. Called the reception to send someone to repair it but he is unable to do so. The reception offered us another room for 4 but as we like the design of our room, we didn't take the offer.

Location of the hotel - It took us about 15 minutes to walk to Jonker Street from the hotel. We enjoyed the night view during our slow walk and you can see trishaw with colorful design and lighting along the Jonker Street. Breakfast - We checked in on Sunday 5 March 2023 and as lot of guest have checked out, our breakfast for the following 2 days were changed from buffet breakfast to ala carte menu due to low occupancy during weekdays. Overall, the food are nice and of quite high standard, we liked it very much. Room - we took a family room of 4 (Grand Family Mix). Just nice for a family of 4. Room equipped with coffee machine, and usual toiletries. Pool - we don't expect the pool to be of that size, though its not wide, its long enough for kids to do lap swimming. Kids enjoying it so much.

Our room did not get cleaned even with the sign on the door. Fortunately, there was a towel change upon request. We happened to arrive the week when the buffet breakfast was halted. That was a bit disappointing as we had chosen this hotel based on previous good reviews about the breakfast.

The breakfast. it was inclusive of the price but very poor value. The English style was poorly cooked and the buffet had a very reduced choice.

It smells really bad in the room - i think it is very high humidity. On the hallway to the room - the carpet that is on the floor seem to be very very dirty. The breakfast has very few options for western tourists and funny thing - for one morning they made us choose what kind of breakfast we want and what kind of juice. We choose orange juice and in the morning they brought us apple juice, even though they knew we ordered a night before orange juice.

The location is near the city center, the room size is quite ok and the personel kind.

We liked the hotel and would definitely stay again or recommend. The layout of our room was a bit odd with the bathroom having the only windows to outdoors, and the bedroom / bedroom having a clear glass wall between them. There was a blind that could be pulled down for privacy.

Location was perfect, just a 5 minute walk through Little India to the river and centre of town. Room was quiet. The hotel was nicely designed and reception was friendly and helpful. The parking behind the hotel was great. The room was clean and comfy, the bed was firm as expected in Malaysia but comfy. We didn't use the rooftop pool but it looked good. Breakfast was a buffet with toast, cereal, roti, curly fries, chicken curry, noodles and I think a few more things. All was nice.
