Location is nice if you have a car. If you don’t, it is too far from downtown. You can take a walk and it gives you the vibes you are there for. There is nobody around. If you go downtown, it is packed but worth it!

Lovely quiet outlook via patio doors on to wooden terrace overlooking canal with horses ducks, geece, storks, etc. Lovely walk round top half of giethoorn village - best to get bus to main part of village.

United StatesOur Room was too warm at night. We turned the heat totally off but not cool enough for us to sleep. The ac was not available yet in the hotel. The hotel was located about 15 min drive from the bustling Giethorn area and it would have been nicer to be in town.
Nice people. Good restaurant. Clean room. Convenient boat rental. We had a as good time here.

Excellent location perfectly placed to visit Giethoorn. We were able to rent a boat to tour the nature reserve, lake and village, which was very convenient. The staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful.

GermanyThe hotel is very old and outdated, need a big renovation for the price level it asks for. The pictures that show on the booking.com are very old and not recently condition of the hotel. The rental boat is very expensive and you don't need a big round for more than 2 hours, 1 hour trip is enough.
The location of the hotel is good for parking then take the rental boat from the hotel directly for the giethoorn village. The owners are nice and friendly.

Perfect location. Beautiful property. Amazing staff. We were here for a night, but wish could have stayed longer. The Hotel owners provided all the necessary help around the area. We took a boat and a cycle from them. They were kind to offer a jacket too, to help with the cold.

Saudi Arabialocation is far from the center that you need a bus taking you from hotel to the center which is schedule in long time every one hour and stop working time at 6: 00 PM .If you want to take this hotel you need a car otherwise you will struggle form going and back to your hotel .

The location of the hotel for Giethorn was superb. The rental of Electric Boats and the application for navigating the boats through Giethorn was excellent. The hotel manager was very knowledgeable. An old building hence structures are old, bathroom is not renovated and are very old style however this should be a major issue. Location: this hotel is located at the start of the village hence be prepared to walk a lot if you wish to walk through the village.

NetherlandsThe staircase leading up to the room was a bit narrow. No problem at all for us, but if you have large/heavy suitcases or are not very mobile, I would request a room downstairs, if possible.
Perfect location. You can rent a boat at the hotel and the hotel has an app with some very nice routes. The hotel is a bit outside the center of Giethoorn, so nice and quiet. Our room was very nice and comfortable and the bathroom very clean. The owners of the hotel are very friendly, contrary to what we read in other reviews. Unfortunately we had to leave after 1 night, due to personal circumstances. TIP: If you want to go for dinner in the center of Giethoorn, maybe a good idea to make a reservation upfront, because a lot of restaurants were fully booked, even though it was not high season yet.
