The bathroom is still not renovated, and there was some smell of sewage coming from either the shower or the toilet. I couldn't really spot it. But when you close the door, you don't feel it.

The staff at the reception and the restaurant were really friendly, funny, and helpful. The food at the restaurant was delicious, well-presented, and reasonably priced. The room itself is spacious and basic, but it has everything you need. The beds were comfortable as well, and there was a sun-blocking curtain. They obviously did some renovations to the hall and rooms, and the end result is modern and warm. I agree with the rest of the reviews that this hotel is really good value for money!

Nothing. All perfect. Just note that the parking on the square in front of the hotel is free only at night. From 09h00, you can park there for free for 2 hours with the "blue disk", then have to pay. Probably one can park in the streets nearby for free, but we did not try.

Hotel located right in the center of the small, beautiful village of Aalsmeer, very convenient (parking in front, bar / restaurant on the ground floor with nice and warm decoration, good regular food and drinks reasonably priced, very welcoming ans smiling staff. Good room, large enough, correct bathroom. Overall, decoration/style of room and bathroom were standard and a bit old-fashoned, but spotlessly clean, well upkept - nothing to complain about for the price paid. Located 10 min by car to the Flora Holland center, 1 minute walk from the commercial street.

There was a small confusion about the breakfast. It's not included in the room price but you can pay extra to have it (12,50 euros). I was told that breakfast is served on Saturday but not on Sunday and Easter Monday, due to staff shortage. So I paid for the breakfast on Saturday only. What was my surprise when I saw people having breakfast on Sunday as well! On Monday, the restaurant was closed, so that information was correct.

I chose this hotel outside of Amsterdam due to the very good price. Aalsmeer is very well communicated by the public transportation, it takes about 30 minutes to get there from Amsterdam Centraal. My room was small but very comfortable. There was a small table and chair, small wardrobe, a bed. The bathroom was also ok, there was a hairdryer. The hotel was very quiet. The breakfast buffet had good choices. There is a Lidl supermarket just across the street. I also recommend having a dinner in the hotel restaurant, the food was very good!

If you're using public transport the location is not the best. 10 to 15 min by foot of the closest bus stop and you have to do a couple of changes to reaching the city center.

I loved how comfortable are the beds and in general the hotel has a cozy atmosphere from the lobby up to the rooms.

The party in the restaurant was quite loud.

The hotel was value for money. Since there was a party in the restaurant and there would be no breakfast served (for additional fee) in the morning, they waived the city tax which we appreciated.

The one outlet in my bathroom did not work. I brought it to their attention. They were aware of it but during my two week stay nothing was done to address it. The towels were small and rough. It was like drying off with the bath mat. I never received a wash cloth even though I asked for it in writing.

There is no posted quiet times. There is no onsite night manager. During the last week of my stay there were a bunch of young girls who for would run up and down the hall, shriek, laugh after 9p.m at night. Because quiet times were not posted I was not able to approach the group and remind them of the rules. However, I did. Afterwards, they just slammed doors.

Due to staffing shortages there were no staff available at all on a Sunday, which meant no breakfast was available and nowhere in the village could provide this. But surely tea and coffee facilities either in the room or common area of the Hotel could have been provided. Disappointed that tea and coffee facilities were not provided in the room anyway, but when there are no staff at all on a Sunday an alternative should be provided even a vending machine would help. It is annoying that the facilities advertised were not provided on a Sunday and yet the same charge/cost was made.

Unfortunately the evening staff did not tell us to order a taxi for our reasonably early flight the night before (they advised to do it in the morning), so at 6.30 am we went down to order the taxi and there was no one in the office. In fact no one arrived until 7.45. He wasn't happy and I guess we were getting a little anxious and nervous. However he did manage to get a driver to us within half an hour.and we were very thankful to him. Everything turned out OK in the long run but I really don't think that I would recommend this place if you are on a tight schedule.
