Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThere was nothing that we did not like, but for someone who knows nothing about boats and marina's, the walkways can get a little slippery when wet
Peace and quite, the noisiest thing about it was the odd duck floating past and quacking central heating in the boat was mega efficient, all in all if you want peace and quite out of the hustle and bustle C'est la vie is perfect. The bed is very comfortable Initially, I thought the boat maybe quite cold as it was on the water in April, but the central heating was more than up to the task. After 10 minutes, we were having to turn it down it was so hot.all in all extremely comfortable Would I go there again? Yes

United KingdomThis isn't a complaint but I had no space left above to mention that there's no toaster or oven/grill - only the hob. So be prepared when you shop to buy microwavable food or anything you can heat up or cook in a pot/frying pan. I've noticed a lot of people saying the bed was too small, so just wanted to say it wasn't too small for us, and we found it very comfortable. Again not a complaint, just ran out of room to type..... didn't get to try the American Diner (Charleys) as it was closed when we went there, but we did eat at Het Spiegelhuys and it was very good. One more tip, if mosquitoes tend to like you, take a good deet spray, maybe some plug ins or whatever you need (antihistamines maybe). We had fantastic weather and 30 degrees but this meant mosquitoes, especially being next to water and lots of trees and bushes. They didn't bother my husband but unfortunately I take quite a reaction to them. So if you're like me, go prepared.
Loved our time in this beautiful place. The view of the lake is stunning. Had lots of visits from the ducks and swans. It's just the most relaxing place. Woody was very welcoming and helpful. He organised a boat for us to rent for two days. We had the best time exploring around the lake. WiFi was excellent. All facilities in perfect working order. Have added some useful info below if it helps others enjoy their stay: Late arrival was no problem - just email and they'll make arrangements with you for the keys. We went into Amsterdam on the evening of our arrival (to eat) and on the day of departure (we had hours to pass before our flight). We found the best route for us was to get the train from Schipol to Amsterdam Centraal, then to Weesp (pronounced "vesp"), then the bus outside the station entrance to Nederhorst den Berg (the bus stops right outside Spiegelzicht). Do however look into the times of public transport. We left it too late to get the train/bus on the way there and paid €110 for a taxi - this was however more convenient with our two suitcases. We were leaving on a Sunday and discovered the local bus (106) doesn't run on Sundays. However we used a local taxi firm who were very good and reliable (Souv's). The local shop (Albert Heijn) is the only shop in town and is open everyday between 8am and 9pm apart from Sunday when it's open from 11am til 6pm. It's not far to walk but it feels like it when you have heavy bags, but you could use the bus, or if you hire a boat you can use it to go shopping. When you come out Spiegelzicht (on the water), turn right, drive the boat straight until you can't go any further, then head over towards the windmill, and over to the left of it you'll see a sign that says "Boodschappen Steiger" (groceries jetty). Enter there, turn immediately right and there's a bit further up to moor up over to the left.

United KingdomNot much to dislike. Maybe some larger towels for the shower room. Shelf above the bed is a bit annoying as it stops you sitting up to read in bed.
Superb location - peaceful and restful. Really well equipped and maintained.
