The staff is not very friendly or helpful. The hotel is pretty old and a bit smelly/musty, especially the bathroom. The room did not have a refrigerator.

The location is ok, not too far from the center. Quite noisy though as it's right next to a main road. The rooms are fine, dated and a bit depressing (black and dark red walls and curtains) but the size is good and the bed is decent. Breakfast was fine, basic fare but fresh.

Was a bit cold inside the room. It looks like central heating wasn't working properly.

24/7 open reception with friendly staff, coffee, quiet neighborhood, rolls & bacon, freshly baked bread, big bed.

The bed and pillows are terrible the most uncomfortable ive been ever on a hotel. The bedroom quite ugly, it doesnt have the minimun by my standard to be a 4 stars hotel, this is barely a 2 stars. No soap, no kit of whatever you would need if you forgot. Tiny TV. No mini fridge. Way too expensive for the service we got.

It is easy to find. It was clean. The breakfast was ok

The rooms are decorated in black and dark red and are somewhat depressing and old fashioned. The lighting is poor, though the room is comfortable in itself. The receptionist was absent when I arrived , no-one answered the bell and I had a 15 minute wait to check in. When I checked out the receptionist was absent again.

I have stayed here several times before and it always has been satisfactory.

I didn't like having to stand outside the main entrance at nearly 1am, waiting for the door to be opened because the front desk is not manned - despite ringing their front buzzer and calling their posted phone number for over 10 minutes. When the porter finally arrived, he looked confused and didn't apologise. I didn't like the appalling lack of light in such a small room (118) and view onto a roof, directly in line with the ventilation shafts etc. The decor was outdated. There were no electrical sockets near the bed and only one at the desk, used by a light. So you have to decide whether to see what you are doing or charge your phone / use your laptop. I didn't like the water leaking through their roof onto the area close to the lift - which I had to report, because they hadn't noticed it! Will never stay there again.

Room temperature was never quite right. The light in our room was broken for the duration of our stay and, despite informing staff, no one fixed it.

no drink making facilities or vending machine. Room dark and dismal, décor awful with black walls and light shades. Fan on ceiling with light looks like aircraft propeller, really ugly, Strange bedside radio that doesn't work but is kept there as it has switches for the room lights, I have stayed here before and will do again, but needs a makeover

comfortable enough, but hotel is well overdue for an update. Restaurant good, bed comfy

Room was decorated in black & red. Lights not working so couldn't see across the tiny room. Complained. Moved to bigger and better (same décor). No coffee, or safe, thin towels. Lift stopped working and needed re-calibrating? So eventually bags carried up stairs for us.

Worst part was the relatively old staff who all seemed to be unmotivated. Although we havent experienced any rude or unpleasant attitude, it would be better to check in/out with a smile. Breakfast would level up with the addition of a vending machine to offer fresh ground coffee and a simple orange juicer.

Located in a central zone, this kinda old hotel building had a strange layout. Being a double-storey building you had to walk long ways and take turns in a maze. However you easily capture your route. Breakfast was ok, a tad better than Ibis Tilburg in terms of variety.
