It can get very hot in the room, the fan doesn't help.

The receptionist was so helpful and kind. She arranged a safe parking for my bike in a shop downstairs. As I missed my bus back home and had to stay another day, she went out of her to find a place for me and showed empathy and understanding. The Room was spotlessly clean with soaps, shampoo, iron, etc. There is a shower in the Room which is very practical. The breakfast was way better than one expects in a two start hotel.

The room and the hotel looks old-fashioned. I felt a bit like it looks like an aged care facilities. There were some broken equipments in the room such as the light in front on the mirror wasn't working, and the roof fan moved weirdly. There was a sink next to the bed so it was a really weird set up. The place smells old with weird decorations and the bed sheets looks very old and not so clean. Some parts of the hotel and the room was dusty. The breakfast was a bit boring and I was bit unsure about the cleanliness.

The hotel is beautiful, the only downside is the stairs (typical dutch construction). We had huge and heavy pieces of luggage, and it was difficult to climb the stairs with them. However, the owner was really nice and offered us to leave the bags in the breakfast room, so we didn't have to carry them upstairs to the bedroom. Nice breakfast too. The neighborhood is lovely

There is a tree infront of the house where some stupid bird starts singing at 4am. So bring either earplugs or a shotgun.

Location is at least 20mins tram or bus ride from the centre and HS station so need to count it every time you want to come back to the hotel. Bit noisy pipes running through the single room either for the heating or water supply.

Great friendly staff who runs the hostel. Good breakfast. Clean, all facilities available. Location half way through the center and beach side if that's what you are looking for. Plenty of shopping options around the hotel.

Due to the age of the place and the later included 'bathroom' in the room, the smell in the room was not the most pleasant.

The room met my expectations, the only problem was that it did not smell nice when I arrived, and everyday it required additional ventilation to keep it fresh.

Breakfast was, as promised, wonderful. The location is not something I would complain about, it's far from the city center, but I had made myself comfortable with Den Haag public transport, for a considerable gain of cost. The location is obviously much more attractive during the summer season - close to the beach :) The owner was very nice and flexible, i.e. allowed me to change the number of guests twice with no additional charge. All in all I recall this stay as a positive experience.
