The room was in basement with very difficult stairs, lift is available but somehow didn't feel very stable and safe to use the lift. Soundproofing didn't exist so anybody talking in the road outside could be heard along with all kinds of noises from inside the room very clearly and vice-versa. Bathroom exhaust fan makes a continuous sound if the light is on which is when anybody is using the bathroom.

The location of the hotel is the best thing. The room was clean enough. During the Tulip festival, all hotels in Amsterdam were super costly and this was the cheapest one with a price of 200+ euro per night :)

The mattress over is very old and there is a lot of pilling, even the sheet was covered and I can feel. Need change. The shower room has half glass door and water came out of the bathroom.

IMPORTANT: The capsules are not suitable for long people :D I'm 194 cm and I had to sleep with my knees bent. Also, the mattresses are pretty tough. Mind also - the capsules are not secured from outside noise. So i highly recommend to buy ear plugs before night time.

The stariways to the basement is very very steep.

Solid hotel. You should know that it's more of a hostel, without decorations, breakfast, or much comfort. The rooms are clean though and it's super central (2 minute walk to public transfer, 10 minutes to Rijksmuseum and Leidseplein). The price is just fine for what it is. We stayed in a room with 2 beds and no actual window. The bathroom was fine and the beds alright. They take a 50€ caution at checkin and make you sign that you don't smoke or misbehave - so, classic hostel vibes. If you plan on seeing the city and spending little time at the hotel, this is your place. Would book again.

Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay, location is accessible to the main centre but in proximity to other nice, less touristy areas, ie Foodhallen/Vondelpark. Surprisingly quiet.

The blocked shower in the morning wasn't pleasant but even worse when they cleaned the blog drain they left the hair in the bin for when we returned at the end of the day and the wet towels still on the floor. Considerable traffic noise in our room as well, not that they can help

The room was ok for what we required, with myself my son and his friend sharing a room for a football match. Staff were friendly when checking in and the location is great, easy to get to the centre of town but some nice local bars and restaurant's away from the tourists.

Room was dirty, bathroom not cleaned, toothpaste still in sink from previous occupant. Bedlinnen not changed; long hair in the bed and duvet cover had stains of blood, no matress cover and sheet dirty also. I slept on a towel. Would not recommend due to hygiene issues....

Location is great, 2 minutes walk from metro station and probably 5 minutes away from Rijksmuseum. Rooms are tiny as the bathroom. Staff nice.

The rooms were very small and not the cleanest. There was a lot of dust and the carpet was stained. Our hairdryer didn't work. Also room cleaning service cost extra.

The location was great and we could get anywhere we wanted to either by walking or taking the M52. Beds were very comfortable also.

Our room was situated ons the top floor with a window overlooking the street and front of the hotel, it was extremely noisy.

The bathroom was good, only problem was the shower didn’t drain. Had to turn the water off while washing so the shower did not overflow onto the floor. It made showering rather inconvenient.

Price and location was great! Room was small but it was as expected. Being from the United States we are used to having A/C of course, so it was an adjustment during the heat.
