Wow wow wow - highly recommended!!! Must visit!!! I went with my daughter to rest for the weakened. The place is amazing , views are stunning, i think the best you can get in Nagarkot BUT the staff and the service we got was not less than EXCEPTIONAL!!!!! We’ll definitely come back , if you are planning a vacation in Nagarkot, in high standards, don’t think twice ! This is the place , super recommended and the most valuable for money.

Location of this property is excellent but the access to this property (currently no proper road) may be developed / enhanced.

It’s remote so plan accordingly. There are no restaurants or stores nearby so you’ll be stuck buying everything at the resort and it can quickly add up, if you’re cost conscious.

It has great views. The rooms are very comfortable. Ideal for those seeking a quiet time. The breakfast buffet is amazing. The staff are kind and truly helpful. They found me a taxi back to Kathmandu for a very good value. There’s a suspension bridge about 3.5km away which is a fun walk.

Not a hotel problem though. It's purely booking.com issue as I was unable to choose all inclusive during the stay. The cost would have been much cheaper even with all inclusive if I had booked directly from the hotel. I suggest booking.com to look into this and offer the service.

The service was absolutely brilliant. From the reception staff, reception manager to restaurant staff, porter, everyone were brilliant. They always had smile on their faces and when I asked why they do have it, almost everyone said they loved their work. The new management must have been brilliant.

I did not like the acustics of the dinner room. It was quite noisy when all the guests were present at the same time.

I liked the amazing views towards mountains. I loved the huge windows in the room as I could see the mounting scenery straight from the bed. I loved the dinner buffet and the staff was very helpful.

The mattress and pillows were not very comfortable. The staff mentioned that they going to change them in July 2024. The Spa was under renovation.

The location is very good. Its peaceful and all rooms have a amazing view. The rooms were very clean and staff were very accommodating.

The room size was slightly small and there were a lot of flies that kept on entering the room every time we opened the gate. Considering all the greenery around, An air cutter around an enclosed entry gate for the cottage block should do the trick.

The resort was good with a beautifully designed restaurant, a cozy pool, beautiful garden leading to the sunset view deck. The service staff, however, was exceptional. They elevated our experience to a whole new level. Mr Subodh, the F&B manager and all the service staff at the restaurant deserve a special shout-out for making our stay so memorable. Mr Subodh and the Chef curated our dinner menu specifically to give us a taste of the local Nepali cuisine. The taste of Choila, Gundruk and the wonderful Wheatgrass juice and the memory of the attention and care will stay with us always. My kids especially loved the breakfast spread. 3 cheers to all the service team at Soaltee Nagarkot.

It was very noisy with music and people walking up and down to their rooms, unsure if the windows weee double glazed as we could hear people talking outside at 3am

It was challenging to climb the stairs. Though Resort authority is constructing lift facilities to address that. The landscape should be native in nature. The flora palette should be collected from the forest rather than the nursery.

Setting of the resort was amazing. It offers almost panoramic views of the surrounding hilly terrain. The food quality was great as well.

We had 2 rooms, 1 was positioned next to a lift construction in which the noise of the drilling and banging only impacted us for a couple of hours from 3-6pm. If you have small babies and need to keep sleep timing regular, this may impact your decision. Apart from that, the stay was peaceful and stayed around the hotel area as theres not much to do. Even though we were not bothered by this, I was expecting something complementary, like a drink or meal but there was no mention of that. I would have also expected the hotel provide transportation services to the suspension bridge as that was a great experience as there is nothing to do at the hotel. Taxis were a struggle to get to and from places - we had to use the app InDrive but taxis drivers exploited the prices as there was limited supply. The suspension bridge also has the worlds 2nd largest zipline (apparently!) but didn't get a chance to do that. There is also a lovely trek to see waterfalls at the suspension bridge near by. You could easily spend a good 3-5 hours here.

The only item (which the property has not control over) is the air/visabilty. It was so haze count not appreciate the view at this time of year. I went there for relaxation and it 100% delivered.

Service was exceptional. Rooms were very nice and food was great.
