Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

New ZealandCheck-in!!! If you booked quest on Ward street. I tell you, it was so frustrating! I asked if I could check in early which was fine. I also reserved a car park which was located @ the back of hotel. I was told that we could go in earlier which we did. Found our designated car park. HEADS UP, make sure to ring reception to tell them you have arrived @ your car park.or your car will be towed away. Got to the front of the building. Door does not open .You have to talk into an intercom. There is no1 manning the reception which was located inside the building. You can't get in! Very frustrating & also embarrassing having to talk into an intercom whilst people are walking past. In the end I rung them on my phone. Only to be told that it was busy in Quest on London street and she would get the key there in half an hour. I thought I'd take a look @ the mall & return & hopefully key would be there. Got back & you guessed it doors locked! no1 manning reception. Rung them & they said they would open the door from their side to let me into the building and I would find the key to my room in the envelope that was located on the table INSIDE the building THAT I COULDN'T GET IN!!!! No phone call from them to let me know they were there with key & they were leaving it. I spent most of my time trying to get into the building!! I was very frustrated & annoyed! So happens, when a guest exited the building, I was able to get in. I grabbed my envelope & made my way to the room. Anyone could enter the building if someone exits and grab those envelopes which held keys to your room. At that moment, I felt unsafe! The room smelt a little stale but clean. The door to balcony didn't lock. City view was the back of the hotel! Disappointed! You need to hire someone to man the reception at all times Customers that have travelled from afar just want to check in & relax!!
Awesome, that it was close to the Mall, Starbucks & within walking distance to the skycasino & restaurants in Victoria street.

New ZealandOn entry there was a very strong smell of old vomit which didn't smell like it had been attempted to clean up The elevator was also very clanky and may need a check up. The price made sense for the room and location however customer service although good when I didn't realise that I hadn't booked a carpark the clerk was quite short with me nor understanding.
Room was comfortable, spacious and clean in good central location.

Parking was poor and it was not flagged anywhere obvious that it was an extra charge. Another guest was towed from the park within 10 minutes while she was trying to contact someone about entry into the apartments. This was poor. No one appeared to be in the reception area at all on the Sunday.

New ZealandThe dishwasher and washing machine were not working properly and there was a strong sewage coming from the floor drain in the bathroom. No staff to contact to show them as no reception. Left a note inside apartment but 36 hrs later haven’t heard anything . Rang Quest today and they told me someone from Head Office would ring but they didn’t, so very poor customer service.
The location is cbd and close to river so excellent if you have a function in town.

New ZealandWe had to wait 15 minutes on the busy footpath with our bags before we were let in. We had received confirmation via a phone call and given instructions. There was no staff on site at 4:30 pm Saturday, so we had to make communication via an intercom and then kept waiting for an excessive amount of time.

We have always stayed in Quest Motels all over New Zealand when we travel Maybe instead of saying your child stays free charge. We may as well payed for $300 some where else for the night. An not impressed with your reception did she racially profiled me when I walked in to collect key an did not inform us where the parking was Quite a walk away from the accommodation When booking at your Quest make it well aware those are the important extra cost . Parking Children are free but not free An a receptionist that can explain if you park here an take your bags out an then go to parking building. An once in parking building how to get out with out having to move your car to open gate We were left not impressed. An also extra towels as we showered on arrival which left us with no towels for the morning shower.Im thankful she brought some up. I have always booked through booking.com An every other hotel has just given our car parking an our key an so very helpful. Customer Service needs looking into at Quest On Ward
