Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FranceIt's sad that parking and wifi are not included in the base price (50+500PHP per day).
The cottage is right in front of the sea in a little remote village, this is very unique and beautiful ! Rhea and Justin were always there to help us, thank you again ! Internet is provided via Starlink, response times and speed is just like a good connection in a city. If you book this, be aware that this is in a remote location. You will need a 4WD to get there (1h30 away from El Nido) and electricity is limited, but it's worth it.

Netherlandsthis is not property related, but very saddening. Quite a few coral reefs are destroyed due to dynamite fishing during COVID. I hope the government and private initiatives can put effort into better protection of marine life and its restoration.
The place is fantastic if you are looking for away from civilization time. The cottage is basic, clean and well maintained. The description of the property is very honest and detailed, doesn't overpromise things, so you really know what you are getting. Rhea and her brother Justin are managing the property and are very kind and attentive to the guests' needs. Well ahead of our arrival Rhea reached out to us, confirming our preferences and requests. They helped to arrange boat tours for island and beach hopping. The cottage has a wide variety of board games, snorkels and kayaks, that you can use during the stay.

United KingdomOn the way to the resort is quite dissappointing, so long journey in the rough rocky road. I mean the roads to go there is really bad. Some facilities listed in there page is not available, no karaoke, no hammock, and some board games aren’t available. During our island hopping, it says snorkling gear was included in out package u fortunately they are not provided, luckily the boat has 3 spares but 1 of that is broken.
The property is next to the beach. The host @RHEA and her brother JUSTIN are very nice and friendly and was helping us all throughout our stay.

United KingdomDifficult to get to the location, Road is a dirt track and incredibly bumpy but adds to the experience I guess.
Location is amazing, set in front of a beautiful beach with amazing sunsets. Caretakers went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and were always on hand. Amazing people.

United StatesCompared to other nice stays the price was high given the facilities. No wifi, poor water pressure (we showered using buckets) and no breakfast included. We would still stay again given the beach and seclusion but we stayed at other nice places for half the price (granted they weren't beachfront). There isn't really any food in town, it's a modest fishing village with only one place to buy food, when we went they had already sold out so we ate baked goods for dinner from the local bakery. The property offers food options but their pricing is comparable to El Nido tourist restaurants. Cheap by western standards but expensive for the Philippines, we're traveling long term so are always checking pricing. The beds were comfy but the pillows were very uncomfortable, we just didn't use them, they were very large and hard.
The location was amazing, right on the beachfront. It's very quiet and the beach is beautiful and clean. It's a tough rocky/dirt road to get there so there are very few tourists. They provided kayaks also which was a nice surprise. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

United StatesThe cottage is far from civilization. It's about an hour and a half of unpaved road, and it was rough. We were just glad it wasn't raining. Also, a lot of drivers from El Nido town wouldn't even dare take us there so it took us awhile to find one who is willing to drop us off.
The place was spectacular. The beach was amazing, and the staff (Rhea&Jeffrey) were the highlight of our trip for being so kind and accomodating.

GermanyWater is scarce in this establishment and it is not necessary to explain in detail what this may mean to some guests. To be fair this is mentioned in the brochures and so it might be that climate activists would feel very much at home there!
B’ fast was ok, but there were ca. PHP 2.500.- more charged than we ourselves had calculated. The price info on the menu is so confusing that in case of a dispute even an experienced judge might deem it helpful to call in an expert opinion. With the personnel, who were really helpful, we can find no fault! Justin should be especially mentioned in this context! Other aspects would be the advertising such as “the beach belongs to you alone”! Stray dogs will seize your shoes from the veranda and up to 25 boats anchor along the beach with a steady coming and going the whole day and those who knows the sound of the engines of these native boats will be in the clear what I am describing here. But however you may turn and twist it there may be some people who find it adventurous or even romantic to crawl over the bamboo side structures of the native boats and having their ears blasted away by howling engines. Jedem das Seine!

The property is a bit off from El Nido town, but definitely worth the trip. We had the pleasure of enjoying the heat and various activities. We cooked a lot and rested well. Thanks to the housekeeper who was available 24/7 we were able to enhance our stay through last minute grocery shoppings and even motorcycle rentals. She is such a lovely and chatty person!! She made our stay pleasant and wonderful:)

our stayed at fisherman’s cottage was completely stunning. the views, the village where is located and the ambiance is unbelievable. walking up in front of the sea just two steps from the sand at a place where there are no other tourists is something indescribable. but the best part of the hotel is without a doubt Rhea, the host who will look after you for every single thing. she is the best part of our trip. knowing her and getting help and recommendations from her changed completely our journey. Rhea and Justin are there 24/7 helping you with whatever you need and always smiling and with very interesting recommendations. i would completely suggest booking this compound because it allows you to disconnect from crowded El Nido but mostly because of Rhea and Justin.

IsraelStay away from this place! It isn't a hotel, more like a hostel. The toilet/shower room is located outside, shared by the three bedrooms, and you can't go there in your underwear because the housekeeper is also there. The toilet stinks, The shower has no hot water and a very poor water pressure. They actually put a disgusting container of water with a pot to manually pour on yourself. The high price doesn't match the reward. We paid more than 21,000php for two nights, escaped after one night, and the owner refused to refund us. I've visited lots of hotels, using Booking.com, including several in the Philippines, and it never happened to me before.

FranceThe niknik (sands fly) after they bite you is horrible must have insect repellant. Also the service transfer so expensive, I understand because of the rough road really difficult for cars to access except if you have 4X4 or a good driver like Kuya Aga high recommend just request to Rhea☺. But you should provide company vehicle and driver at least to be pick up at Brgy. Teneguiban for free or reasonable price for your guest.4,000php one way is too much if the pick up area is near around Teneguiban. It is understandable the amount of 4,000php if from El nido town or from the Lio Airport. Or I suggest if the weather is good must have free boat transfer with in check in Time like for example from Teneguiban port the pick up location since it is quite near. Also if you avail there Internet connection need to pay for us it is a bit pricey should be given FREE to there guest since the transfer service and per day for there rent of the villa is expensive and no network in the area please be considerable on your guest. In case of emergency no one can contact them I Hope you understand what I mean. By this your guest is happy after long hour drive in the rough road. I suggest to put some fence in your property the neighbood can just walk in and out. But there are all nice just for the privacy of your guest is better.
We like everything one of them is privacy. Accomadating staff specially to Rhea and Justin we love how they taking care of us and the food they prepare for us so delicious. Even they don't have heater in the shower still can manage. All day have electricity. Fresh caught fish from the fisherman every morning and evening you can buy to them cheap price😊.Have some small mini store nearby nothing to worry if you forgot to buy some essentials needs. You can buy fresh local bread just beside of the cottage☺. Maybe we will comeback next year with the tea tree oil or virgin coconut oil for the Nik-NiK. 😁 Once again Thank you so much to Rhea and Justin your the best😘

CanadaTruthfully the only concern was the travel to the location. However, we were aware it would be quite the adventure to get there so we did not mind at all! The destination was well worth it.
The location was beautiful. The sand was clean and the water was wonderful. Great location in regards to accessing the beach. There were also a few stores right by if we needed water etc., so that was very accommodating. The local people were very friendly and approachable.
