The tour M isn't so good as I was expected. They rush on all the places and then you will be at the end in a beach while some of the people get drunk. Music is very loud until 2 am. (Yes) No comfortable beds. I paid 18€ for a dorm bed. Crazy. Food isn't anything special but pricey. Not enough shadow places to rest during the day.

There is no a/c in any of the rooms only fans, it gets really stuffy There is no a/c nor fans in the bar area, also gets super hot In my opinion, too much techno music, some more variety would be nicer

It's right on the beach! Location is simply spectacular. The staff is lovely! The Ultimate Island hopping is very worth booking. Places aren't overcrowded. Izzy was a wonderful tour guide! Food is very tasty Clean rooms, bathrooms and surrounding Evening entertainments are fun! Bar open until 2am

Unfortunately, the DJ pounded, I kid you not, tunes until 1:00 a.m., which made sleep virtually impossible. No amount of earplugs reduced the noise, so I checked out after one night. Two ladies in my dorm room packed up and left the hostel in the middle of the night it was so loud. This hostel has the potential to be a great place were it not for the friggin' DJ.

You could barely sleep in the rooms because it was SO hot, also it’s quite far away from everything else so when the Hostel doesn’t have many guests there is really nothing to do

Some people who come there don’t necessarily know it’s a party hostel, so just keep that in mind when you’re reading the bad reviews as these will likely be the ones who wanted peace and quite but were presented with a wild party and lots of dancing

Staff and manager Kurt were so sweet and caring. There were so many activities and fun games to choose from: karaoke, beer pong competition, volleyball tournament and other games which I missed because I was chatting myself away to so many cool people I met there! It’s not just visitors that come there, locals too as everyone enjoys the good atmosphere that was carefully crafted by the amazing staff. I will mention that this is a party hot-spot and people who may not know that may get surprised by how wild and funky this place gets! You would never tell that there was a party last night because of how clean and tidy everything looks the next morning. So if you’re missing a good party - Mad Monkey in Nacpan is the place to go to! And don’t worry, people who had very good time there will be the last ones to leave a review due to living a moment and enjoying their time there ✨

Half of menu was not available and made not of local products… even the grilled fish was unavailable while its extremely weird when we are 2 steps away from the ocean. Stupid menu, no local dishes. At other places you get local mango local bananas and all that

I didn't like that there was no clear path w/o sand to get inside the room or to and from bathroom. Also didn't like the sex that was being had in the mixed dorm at 12am, Even though we all signed documents stating that there should not be any sex in the rooms. The over night staff and one of the female bartenders trying to 'calm me down' after I was yelled at by the friend of the girl having s*x. Because I left the door open as i waited for a second time for staff to come and tell them to stop having sex. They spent more time Talking to me than the people that continuously had s*x as we talked.(not surprised Because racism and color bais exists) Ive never experienced this at a hostel maybe the younger generations just don't understand common decency.

Nothing, everything is extraordinary

Place itself is fantastic, food & drinks as well. Also, evening activities were supper funny 😁 Great place for someone who wants to feel a real backpackers vibe . Stuff is very kind and helpful. We bought there a 3 days expedition, which was amazing! Best adventure during our time in the Philippines

Super fun place. Right on the beach, has all possible facilities you might need, food and drinks are really good so you don't even need to leave the hostel. Massive thanks to all Leo, Izzy, Kaira, Maria, Hanna and all others. Keeping a good atmosphere in the hostel always requires the right kind of people, and you guys are doing a great job. :)

Wifi did not work for the whole period and everyday we heard "it will be repaired soon". Food very average. Scooters booked 3 days in advance were not reserved for the agreed day. Rooms are very, very hot inside.

A bit more expensive then other places, but with the location directly at the beach it’s totally worth it. Also, there is a great local restaurant next to the hostel.

- Great location to spend some days directly at the beach - I can highly recommend doing the offered Tour M at the hostel. It was a lot of fun and the places we went weren’t crowded with tourists - Although a lot of people complained about the sandflies we weren’t bothered by them - Sleeping without an AC and only a ventilator was also no problem

Almost died with the Katar Van ordered at the hostel, don’t take it. Loud music, and not great party. Not very clean, shaky beds.

Don’t take the company Katar Van from Mad Monkey, they are bad, we had a big car accident with them and almost died. Not often cleaned, beds were shaking, the staff was not always super friendly.

It very much depends who is staying there whether it will be fun or not. We had hardly anyone there, so there were no activities organised during the day or night. There are no other activities or anything on that beach. I got food posoining from the fish and chips and we were eaten alive by sandflies. They are currently undergoing renovations.

The staff are amazing. The restaurant area was great to meet people. The beds are big and have privacy with a curtain. It is a beautiful picturesque beach and very quiet if you want some down time.
