How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Light in the room not well thought through, the shower gel was really cheap and bad (like insect repellent and in a very unhandy little tube)

Having tea next to the reception it's a nice gesture, but you can't have it at the reception as there is no hot water to make it. Some people are having trouble with sleeping or rock solid hard pillows lol. No additional soft pillows at the reception. No additional blankets at the reception.
Excellent room, comfortable with a huge bath, live music every Friday in the main restaurant with a tasty food.

Everyone was friendly and room was great. Breakfast was also very good. Location is superb and next to great restaurant at hotel there were many bars and restaurants in the area

I can't think on anything.
Clean and perfect location. We have received an upgrade as we visited first time. The room had lots of space . We have stayed on 4th floor . It was the most silent night's and mornings in this hotel , i ever experienced and I do travel for last 30 years each month a broad . Great hotel.

Exceptional as always. It was my third stay at Diament Plaza Katowice and I am always happy to return. Great location, modern and clean rooms at great value for money. Highly recommend !

The reception employees were rude. Not all of them but the 2 were very rude. So maybe the head coach should choose better the people that are the “face” of the company. It’s a pity such nice hotel.
The hotel is great and very good location. It’s 5 minutes away from the train and bus station. Also it’s inside the market!!!

Nothing to mention; the price level is for me a little high for Katowice; the price for the breakfast (maybe very good, never tried) is prohibitive.
I use this hotel when travelling by train via Katowice, mainly for the location close to the railway station. In case would stay also several days when necessary. modern, well-equipped, comfortable; the staff is professional.

I like everything about the hotel.
I like absolutely everything about Diament Plaza. Staff at the reception is truly nice and attentive to detail. I received a call prior to my arrival to confirm my stay . I felt like i was an awaited guest even before my arrival :) The hotel facilities and the location are great. Most of all i liked the bed - super comfortable mattress for a good night sleep. I had a superior room that was really specious. Unexpectedly big ))) Possibly more than i needed for my 1 night stay but i would really recommend it for a longer stay visitor. Bathroom is also very specious and contemporary. The hotel provides basic toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner etc,. Diament is a great hotel with a beautiful decor , great and helpful staff and very convenient location..
