How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Hotel staff excellent. TV wasn't working they replaced it with a new one. No problem. Bed very comfy. Shower excellent. No complaints Excellent location. 18 mins walk down main road to main square

Some noise from trams but they did not run after midnight. Could be improved with safe in room.
Excellent helpful reception staff, very comprehensive breakfast. Wonderful packed lunch provided when we had to leave on a tour before breakfast started. Great location in the Jewish Quarter within easy walking of old town. Clean room with very good bathroom.

Only one duvet/blanket on the double bed. Too small for us. Better with 2 single duvets/blankets. This is my opinion.
Location and friendly staff. Breakfast was good and good value.

The room that we got didn't look like the one in the pictures. We didn't bother much, as we stayed there only for a night. But, still - this should be more transparent. Another downside was that the hotel is right next to the street, and I had a hard time sleeping because of the trams passing by, it was really too loud.
The location was perfect, close to the central bus station and the old town. Kind staff. The room was quite big. Breakfast was nice, the choice was satisfactory.

In my opinion, the bedding could be a bit better - pillows felt saggy and duvet was very thin with duvet cover being quite see-through.
Great choice for a short getaway trip to Krakow - location is excellent to explore on foot or by tram. The jewish quarter with lots of cafes and restaraunts is a short walk away. We had a spacious double room with balcony on inside yard side so it was very peaceful. The bathroom is great size with nice shower. Bed was pretty comfortable too. Staff at the reception was friendly and helpful. Really cool art around the halls too! We had breakfast 3 times - all options the same but lots to choose from. Water coolers on each floor - appreciate it.

The location is great for the Jewish quarter and a short walk (10 minutes +) to the centre. The staff were nice and helpful. The room was pretty cheap for a good bed, and a decent ensuite shower.

There was no toilet paper in our room. One noticed in the worst possible situation.
Breakfast was excellent, big selection, good variety. The biggest problem of this hotel is no parking. The hotel is located on the busy street and a chance to park anywhere on that street is quite slim. There are some parking houses in the walking distance.

The bed and pillows were quite uncomfortable
Excellent location in the heart of the old Jewish quarter, a short walk from the main square. Lots of lovely restaurants close by. A good buffet breakfast - the scrambled eggs were delicious. Wonderful shower !

Bedding was a little thin but it was a good hotel for the money and I would stay there again.
The Hotel was located very near the Jewish Quarter and The Old Town It was easy to reach from the airport as it is about 500 yardss from Krakow Zablochie Railway Station The room was large and bright with a very modern bathroom. There was plenty of fresh fruit , salad and cold meats and cheese for a substantial breakfast. The staff were helpful. The Hotel was excellent value for money
