How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

- Staff was not very friendly - We requested a baby crib in advance, but it wasn’t prepared on arrival. Also there was no mattress for a baby crib. - Bed wasn’t comfy enough
- Quite new and clean hotel as usual for Ibis chain - Comfortable rooms with good shower and good sound isolation - Breakfast was quite good as well

Beautiful place, very cozy and clean, beds are comfortable, there are all the facilities you need. The breakfast is exceptional, the staff is nice and helpful. We had a misunderstanding about the breakfast but it was sorted brilliantly by the desk manager. Highly recommend the hotel for stay.

The hotel is a bit far from the city center ( aprox 50 min walking to Old Town) even if on booking it says that it is located in the city center.
The room was comfortable and clean, with an interesting design; it didn’t had a fridge, but we stayed only two nights so not an issue for us. Staff was nice.Breakfast very good, plenty of choices. We appreciated as well the sustainability initiative of the hotel.

Maybe a bit far from the city centre
Breakfast was amazing. The hotel is also very stylish and clean. Loved our stay, it was our favourite hotel of our trip to Poland

The location was not perfect for me as a solo traveler. I think it is more suitable for people traveling in cars because of access to arterial roads.
The staff is very good. The coffee machine and juice jars at the entry are very thoughtful. Also, each floor has a pure drinking water cistern placed in the corridors. Good size room for a single person. It also had enough power point throughout although two weren't working. Very clean. The mattress was comfortable but the plastic underlay can be noisy. The restaurant and breakfast are good.

Some might like to be more central but we loved this location by river and caught bus if exhausted!
Clean, spacious room and great shower- lift to floor. Wonderful restaurant offering great food and huge breakfast bar was included. Could sit indoor outdoor and swinging seats. Coffee, juice, water and biscuits available at entrance. Near the river - easy pleasurable walk to old town and city. Many bars with music on return to hotel at night.

Weird plastic wrap under bedsheet, making noise, had me feeling like I was sleeping on inflatable bed. Didn't have a good sleep. Only basic cable TV

Room was a bit too small as we were family of four, not much place to move around with the luggage and etc.
The hotel has all you need for a nice and short stay. Coffee & tea & refreshment facilities at the reception add the extra value to the stay. Fun for kids, as there is some place to play. Restaurant has some swings, which makes it fun to dine.

Parking is expensive.
One of the greatest breakfast options. A lot of supplementary drinks offered, friendly staff. Location is great too.

Pressure regulator on boiler is most probably broken - very weak water pressure and non stable temperature of water changing by itself from slightly cold to very hot. Impossibility to open window was a great minus for me.
Great restaurant and very nice professional employees smiling even at 4 a.m. :) 24-hours free coffee corner.
