Spacious apartment with everything needed for a comfy stay. Good location for visiting East side of the island. Shops and restaurants nearby. Well equipped kitchen.

Very big and clean apartment. It was also well equipped, including some extra blankets and detergents. It is equipped with air conditioning.Good contact with the host. Each apartment has its dedicated parking place.

House is very comfortable: nice beds, completely equipped kitchen, cozy living room. Perfect location: very close to restaurants, shops, traditional houses. Heartbreaking beaches are very close too. Our family really like this place, it is not so crowded as Funchail, it is quiet, atmospheric and surrounded with so beautiful nature.

I thought I was renting a single room, but it turned out to be an apartment with multiple bed rooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, and two balconies. It was very well priced for such a large space. There was a clothes washing machine. The proprietor (who we never met) gave us the number of a good taxi driver to pick us up early in the morning to take us to a hiking trail. The property is much closer to the town centre than it looks on the map.

The House and interior are a bit old and if you are not looking for spectacular conditions, it will be just fine. Fot the price its good offer. We only had a bit problems with wifi connection , it was very bad during our stay.

The House is very spacious with beautiful view on mountains. It has its own parking spot for those who came by car. It has equipped kitchen and washing mashine. The owner was super nice and we want to thank Maria for letting us come earlier because we had wedding. It has AC and the cleaning was very good. The check in and check out was superb and quick. The location is also good because you have few minutes to Santana centre.

Worth noting if you don’t have a car you’re going to walk up hill, though it’s just a few minutes from the bus stop!

We liked everything in AL - Perola Dourada. Very nice host, everything was very clean, spacious Accommodation also suitable for Kids. Kitchen has everything what you can need. Location perfect. I would definitely recommend it.

Unexpected nice and big appointment, there is a lot of space: living room with AC, kitchen, laundry, bathroom with the shower, towels, hairdryer, bed room with AC, two balconies with great view. Clean, nice, comfortable. Nice location: 5 minutes by foot from Parque Temático da Madeira, 5 minutes to center and bus stop to Funchal. Very friendly and easy going host.

The apartment was very cold when we arrived and took a while to get warmed up with the available electric heater.

We were on the top floor and the views from both sides were fantastic. We travelled by bus from Funchal, the bus stop was just a few minutes walk away, although there is a short but steep hill to the property. Communication with Maria was good and quick. The apartment was clean and spacious and we found the equipment we needed to make meals. Hot water was plentiful.

Ground floor apartment felt a bit damp but freshly painted and heating being installed so that will take dampness away. Upper floor apartment probably a lot warmer and better views. Kitchen cooking utensils could be expanded to include wooden spoon, etc.

You definitely need a car to get here but thats the same with most places in Madeira

We liked the views from the balcony and the short distance to the village centre. The parking at the back of the house helps a lot as well. The host is very communicative and took good care of us.

perfect for exploring the island. convenient car hire close to the house and private car parking. we loved our stay and enjoyed the balconies both east and west. the host was very helpful and it was the best equipped apartment we have ever stayed in. we’ll be back!

Near the center of Santana, not too far from a large supermarket (Continente). The support provided by the owner, who was very flexible with our arrival time and was generally very responsive when had questions to her.

The house is located on a very steep street, so it can be demanding to reach it if you don’t have car.

The appartment was huge, with three rooms, with three balconies, fully equipped kitchen, where we found everything what we needed. The communication with the owner was fast and clear.

Could not make any heater work. In combination with a missing tumble dryer and rainy weather it was just impossible to dry the washed & wet clothing.

Located @ centre. Good parking @ apartment. Very spacious, well equipped, well prepared for visitors.
