The location was perfect and extremely welcoming and helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. There was a lounge area with cool drinks and snacks on arrival, just what was needed

Wry good location, close to train station , can walk everywhere. The hotel staff , desk, concierge and porters were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was very good too.

We had a standard room and it is a bit on the smaller side but ok. If you need more space check for a larger room or suite.

Great hotel with excellent location right in the centre, many sights are within comfortable walking distance. The staff is very friendly and attentive. On my wife's birthday they sent bubbles and a birthday cake to the room along with a birthday greeting card. Rooms have a kettle and nespresso machine, every day a large bottle of water. There is a lovely rooftop bar and a fitness room with treadmills, bicycle, dumbbells and kettlebells and large mirrors, great for maintenance workouts. We really enjoyed our stay.

The staff is amazing. Everyone goes out of his or her way to be helpful. The location provides easy access to many restaurants and shopping. The junior suite is roomy and well equipped. The 7th floor bar is a perfect place to enjoy a drink and have a snack. The roof top terrace has a view that must be one of the best in the old town.

Central staircase was a bit noisy, noise from downstairs travelled up into room corridors, especially at night.

Wonderful location and we were given such an amazing room. Lovely rooftop and the hotel staff were truly wonderful. I had gotten very sick and they did everything they could to accommodate me. It was the best customer service I've ever experienced. I left to go home to the states early and they took care of refunding me a night with booking.com. Although being sick, one of the best hotels around. Stay there!

It’s in the heart of the tourist district so it can get very busy in the area

The hotel is very centrally located off the Blue Metro Line and very near one of the main train stations The rooms were good size by European standards They had an excellent breakfast buffet on their rooftop restaurant

It was old hotel, but very clean and comfortable. Staffs were very kind and helpful. We reserved two rooms for our family and they were connected! Inside the bathroom there was a small plastic chair so it was really good for my old parents to sit down. Beautiful hotel with good price, so I will definitely visit again.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and hotel is centrally located. We loved the voucher for a free drink at the roof top bar, with wonderful views over Lisbon. In the room were complimentary pastel de nata and bottle of port - a lovely touch.

They have the best staff. We were celebrating my birthday and everyone was aware of it!! They all stopped me that day and say Happy Birthday to me! When I came back to my room I had a cake, sparkling wine and a beautiful card wishing me Happy Birthday! They upgraded my room. Food was amazing. The rooftop view was the most beautiful view! This is the place I want to stay when I come back! Loved Altis Avenida Hotel!!!

Excellent hotel in a great location for exploring Lisbon with high quality service and facilities. All of the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The roof terrace bar particularly attracted us to this hotel and it was a lovely spot to relax on with a drink and enjoy the wonderful views.
