The terrace which was mentioned in the booking.com was closed . There were no lights in the last two set of stairs and corridors . The dining table was shaky and the cover of the dining chairs were torn and very lower than the table!

We arrived in early spring (March) and it was rainy for a few days, which caused some leakage in the ceiling of the apartment, so some water was dripping in the kitchen, which wasn't such a problem for us. Only there was a feeling of dampness in the apartment, even tho we used the heaters. Our wet clothes from the rain also never get dry inside, even the duvets seemed damp. I guess that won't be problem in the summer. But it felt uncomfortable for us. The terrace was broken / under reconstruction and unable to use when we were there.

The apartment was in a great location in the historic center and close to many restaurants & cafes. It was easy to get in the apartment even tho we arrived around midnight. The apartment was clean, spacious and looked like in the pictures.

as other guest wrote the shower isn’t working. the kitchen is super small and now very well equipped. there were cleaning stuff all over the kitchen. don’t expect that you can use either the kitchen or the shower.

The shower was not fully cleaned and the hand soap bottle was empty. The duvet cover was slightly torn. Terrace was not available to access but the host let us know beforehand.

Great location right in the city centre. Very good size of the apartment. Apartment tidy and well equipped. Very comfortable bed and bright apartment. Helpful hosts.

The apartment wasn’t very clean - floor and shower were dirty, there were empty soap bottles everywhere in the bathroom. There were only two bath towels and two duvets for three people. There were no soap at all, although the description mentioned it.

The water pressure in the shower was poor , you would only get good pressure if the water was boiling hot! It was a minor issue and I'm sure that will be fixed for the next people that will stay

The bed was ok but could be more comfortable, a hairdryer would also have been nice but all added extras to give 10/10.

Clean, amazing location. Really friendly staff. We were allowed to drop our bags off early so we could explore Lisbon without them. Bumped into the cleaner who told us all the places to visit and eat at. Shower was lovely and hot. Access was easy, be aware of 25A and 25E being identical but next door😂

Free airport transfer that was in the offer was nonexistent. There weren't enough towels for everyone. When shower water is set on body temperature the pressure is low. The balcony wasn't accessible.

Location is perfect, with the walking distance to all main sights. Apartment was clean and spacious. Kitchen is well equipped.

This apartment was advertised as a superior accommodation. This turned out not to be the case! The place was filthy! Dishes were greasy, not washed. Glasses had lipstick on them. We had to wash everything before using, as we could not trust it was safe. A broken drain plug, so had to stop up the kitchen drain with a cloth to wash up. Washing machine would not spin dry, so soaking clothing took 3 days to dry inside, as outdoor space not available (apparently has NOT BEEN available since 2021, but still listed as a feature). Many pieces of furniture were in poor state of repair. The floors were dirty, so our socks would blacken in one day. Bed was uncomfortable and too low for seniors to get up from safely. The shower did not close up properly, so water on the floor. Here is a point for Booking.com! None of your properties mention accessibility! At 78, I was surprised to find that to access and use this apartment, I had to haul my heavy travel bag up 6 flights, on a narrow staircase to the top floor of this building. NO elevator! The owner's representative was unhelpful in getting any of these issues fixed. He kept asking for us to allow his cleaners back in to clear up shortfalls, but our response was always "how would this help, when they obviously do not know how to clean in the first place".

Mould, humidity, bad electricity, no air conditioning, ugly bad linen, uncomfortable pillows. The TVS were reported on the 1st day and the host got an appointment with the technicians on the day of our checkout. The host came over to get a new heater when we were there as my daughter got sick because it was too cold and damp and noticed that the water was coming in from the ceiling. He made an appointment with the workers and was begging us to let them in to check the water leak on the day of our checkout. He also told us that the TV in the living room needed to be changed and that the old heaters needed to be changed. The place was all dirty with mould.

Unfortunately, everything in the apartment was either dirty, broken, or both. The tiny bed for two and the bed linen with pills left me in shock. 1 Towel for 6 nights, no toilet paper, no shower gel. Do not expect any comfort for your money here... I guess any good scores here were left for the large terrace, but it was closed during our period of accommodation, so 5 stars just for the good location in city center.

The lock on the door itself is not easy to open. It took me three minutes to open the door the first time. You have to rotate the key multiple times to unlock the door.

I got a code before arrival for how to open the box and retrieve keys. The code worked on the first try and it was easy to find. It was good for accessing the apartment after normal check-in hours.

bathroom was moldy. there was not enough toilet paper, there was construction in the morning preventing us from sleeping, and it was just very damp/humid everywhere (bed, sofa, etc.)

No major issues first two nights of five night stay, but NO RUNNING WATER on third night (February 7, 2023). Could not flush toilet, shower, clean, cook, etc.! Host is not the owner. He said the issue was fixed the next afternoon. I was excited to go home and shower, but when I arrived, there was still NO WATER. The property is now uninhabitable. Portugal is not a third world country and this is unacceptable. Miguel Garcia was unresponsive to both my friend and me via WhatsApp message and calls. After hours of waiting for his response, I had to decide whether to stay OR risk not getting a refund/finding new accommodations. This was not something I imagined I would have to deal with while on vacation. I could have booked another booking.com property, but I had just had the worst experience (I have traveled to 32 countries so this is not my first rodeo) and simply could not deal with another problem. I went back to tried and true Airbnb. I informed him that I had taken all of my belongings and vacated the property at 18:00 on February 8, 2023. I did not stay in the property for 2 out of 5 nights. He did not offer me a refund of the last two nights even after he was informed that there was still no water. He said he was "trying to solve a problem that is not my fault as best as I can. I am on it!" That is simply not good enough. The common sense thing to do, would be to apologize for my experience and offer me a refund. I reached out to Customer Service and was given a 15% compensation, which amounted to about one night's stay. I appreciated the gesture, but was very shocked when they asked me to contact the host to request the refund. That's like telling me to ask for help from my abuser. I called Customer Service. The service rep and manager were empathetic, but could only offer up apology after apology. They informed me that they had also contact the host, no response. So there are no consequences to his actions. Do better! BBB, here I come.

The bed could be upgraded (sleeping on the couch was much more comfortable).

The location is great. 2 blocks from the Terreiro do Paço metro station and Praça do Comércio. Dozens of bus routes make stops 1 block from the apartment. As well as the many attractions that are within walking distance. Several nice restaurants just out the front door.
