Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Location was great, we were close to all major attractions. Mainly walked every ware. Breakfast was good, we usually went earlier to avoid busy times. Room was very specious with a hallway which I particular like. Plenty cupboard space and room was cleaned every day.

United StatesThis was our second stay at Hotel Britania. I can't say enough nice things about this hotel. The staff are amazing, the rooms are large and comfortable. They welcome you with a carafe of port in the room. Breakfast is diverse and plentiful. The hotel is only two blocks from a metro station and bus stops,so it is very convenient.

United StatesThe hotel is one of those rare gems that can't be mass produced. The staff are wonderful, caring people with genuine smiles no matter the time of day. This trip we were only in Lisbon for less than 12 hours, with a very early flight the next morning. We discussed staying near the airport, but we chose to come back to the Britania because of our previous experiences and knowledge that we would be better rested and in a much better state of mind after staying here again. Great location! Great hotel! Amazing staff!
