The single beds used by the children were ok, but our double bed was very uncomfortable. We were in an apartment with another apartment upstairs (some were ground level only) and the sound really carried from above. The swimming pools were all unheated, which I know is often the case in Portugal, but it meant that our children couldn't really enjoy them as they were too cold.

The apartment was clean, attractive and a good size for 4 people. There were plenty of loungers and parasols in the pool area and the grounds were pretty and well maintained. The food served at the onsite restaurant in the evening was particularly nice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The free shuttle bus to the centre of Carvoeiro was very useful.

I am elderly and we did not have a car with us. As the site is quite a long way from the shops, supermarkets or ATM machine and the apartments are self-catering, I felt the shop on site could have stocked more in the way of basic provisions which would have saved us having to hire taxis.

They forgot to put towels in our room, but as soon as we asked the reception staff they rectified the issue immediately. A washing machine or laundry facility on the property would be a great addition.

We booked late so it was one of the only places available, very good value for money, clean and easy to walk to Carveiro Village and the Beach. Secure Parking! We were worried Carveiro would be too "touristy," but was absolutely lovely and laid back.

Having to pay 15 Euro with a 25 Euro deposit for a lock to fit the security box in the wardrobe! Otherwise it is just a steel cupboard. Indoor pool was freezing.

The facilities are a bit old and run down, the soap in the bathroom

The apartment is a bit old and worn out, but it was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was good, but there was no soap, luckily I brought some with me. The kitchen has everything you would need, though I didn't really use it. The outside area is nice and pleasant. The location is not ideal, it is kind of far from the town, but if you don't mind that, that's ok too.

Everything is good, except for poor WiFi connections as signal do not reach in all room, also hot water you get for sometime enough for one person to shower then water gets cold.

Both swimming pools were very cold. We thought the outdoor pool might be cold but surely you can heat the indoor pool just a little bit? Both pools had lots of dirt on the bottom, for example plasters (band-aids) broken plastic, toilet paper or tissues were some of the things we spotted whilst swimming down for our dive sticks. Similarly at the bar, under the bar stools there was a layer of rubbish and grime that wasn’t cleaned away for the whole of our stay.

The house we had was clean and very spacious. It had all the basics but not much more. The kitchen was modern and had everything we needed. All the staff we dealt with were very friendly and efficient. It’s a pretty site in a quiet location.

It was basic. It was cold during the night and one of the air condicioner did not work. Nobody did anything about it. Rooms are basic, furniture old.

Far enough 20min walk to centre of Carvoeiro far to shops or bars/restaurants. Free Wi-fi only available in the public areas not in rooms.

Clean and spacious apartment, very cheap. Kitchen well equipped. It was fairly quiet at night. Beds very comfy.

I would not recommend eating at the restaurant as the food is not very good. Connection to WiFi is only available in certain location's.
