The only thing they need to fix is the air conditioner system as it made a loud knocking sound every 30 seconds or so, at least in our room it did. Probably a minor fix, maybe it already has been fixed.

The new bathroom is spacious and excellent and location is also very good, away from the heavy tourism crowd but everything is easily walkable on both sides of town. It's a few separate rooms on the same floor but all private and the staff were very friendly and communicated really well. Beds were very comfortable and would stay there again.

Sparkling clean Great central location, 3 minute walk to station. Stylishly decorated Great common areas to eat and relax Host allowed us to store bags for 5 hours so we could enjoy more of Sintra. Nice perk. Would definitely stay again

Wifi did not work in our room however worked upstairs in kitchen and outdoor area. Tended to drop in and out.

Opening the sliding door we had an unpleasant sewer type-smell. Luckily we didn’t need to keep that open. The bathroom could use a stronger exhaust as everything remained damp including the toilet paper.

The room size and comfort was great. The shower pressure was really good and nice and hot. Lots of choice of different kinds of cuisine and price points to choose from very close. A nice cafe/bakery right next door. Parallel street to the train station. With doors closed we were not affected by any noise either from street or trains. The hosts were super responsive and very helpful with any request. It would be nice to have a kettle in the room but that is a small matter as they have a shared kitchen that has everything you would need. We particularly liked our room 1 as it was ground floor.

My room (#1) had all the convenience of a hotel room but felt damp. It's probably just how the building is... which is out of the hosts' hands.

Location. From the train station, take the stairs opposite, turn to the right and your're there. Just around 5 minutes to the center of town. Convenience. You get a message from the hosts with codes to get in. The place has a common kitchen on the first floor (2nd floor for Americans) with a fridge, water heater, toaster and coffee maker. It gives access to a common terrace . Tania provides coffee pods, tea, biscuits and cookies. There's a cafe nextdoor if you want to take it easy. Wifi worked well. Communication and friendliness. Tania was very quick to answer questions through WhatsApp. I met her and she's friendly and very service-oriented. I would recommend and book again should I travel back to Sintra. Thank you, Tania

Nothing, really. You couldn’t call it luxurious, but then it was relatively inexpensive and was pleasant and welcoming. The kitchen was a little sparsely equipped, but ok for drinks etc.

It was a spacious room,clean and fresh, and located near the centre of the town, though far enough away to avoid the crowds of daily visitors. The shared kitchen was useful. A brilliant location, and I would advise getting a room at the front if you can. It looks out over the street to lots of green and eventually the sea. The road is busy during the day but quiet in the evening and at night. Some excellent cafes and bars nearby, and the railway station is a short walk away.

I observed that the guesthouses in Portugal do not have a ventilation system in the washroom. However, the steam dissipated rapidly when I opened the windows.

The house appears to be in excellent condition, with the owner mentioning that it underwent renovations just two years ago. The bedroom and bathroom are tidy, roomy, and inviting, each equipped with sizable windows. Despite the proximity of the windows to the common area, there was only one guest during my stay. The kitchen provides necessary utensils. The location is exceptionally convenient, just a brief three-minute walk from the train station.

At night, we can hear the train sometimes. Not loud but if you are a light sleeper like me, you may want to take the ear plugs.

Location is good and convenient, closing to the bus station and train station. It only takes 10 minutes to get to city center and has many restaurants, cafes, grocery store within a couple minutes. Host is very helpful and responsive. We were allowed to check in early and they have a storage for us to store our luggage after we checked out.

The bathroom is small and shower box only fit for standing and turning with caution. It took a while to get hot water through the shower head. Otherwise all good.

Very close to Sintra train station. Short cut with stair could take less than 5 mins. It did save quiet energy and time to carry the luggage walking around. I did not meet anyone in person but received very clear instructions on how to get in, where to store the luggage, WiFi password. As I arrived early and had reserved time slot to Pena palace, it was important for me to settle these matters quickly. I appreciate it. Room is big and clean and had a small welcome box. It has a full kitchen with sitting tables and chairs and exit to a nice courtyard. Sad I did not have time for cooking but used it for coffee and tea.
