Everything! The location was incredible, surrounded by beautiful green mountains and even a view of the sea. The kitchen and bathroom were extremely clean and well equipped. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The garden is beautiful, full of lizards and well maintained. The tents were spacious, really cozy, and comfortable. Finally, the place is very well located, as it is close to many amazing destinations on Madeira's north coast, such as Seixal, Santana, and many great levadas. At the same time, the place felt quite remote and you could see many stars on clear nights. I would highly recommend a stay at Granny's place for anyone visiting the island.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The gardens are beautifully planted and the views are stunning. The tipi and communal areas were very clean and comfortable, offering everything we needed to prepare packed lunches for our hikes. Cristina was a very warm host and her food recommendations are definitely worth trying out! Thank you!

There is not a single thing we disliked about our stay at grannys farm.

We didn’t expect the garden to be this large. Just like a park, it was not only colourful but also cosy and extremely well maintained. The hosts were super friendly, always open for a nice conversation and provided us at our arrival with all necessary information about the accomodation. Both the indoor and outdoor kitchen were equipped with anything we needed to cook and eat. In the evening, you can relax at the cozy bar that offers delicious and fresh made drinks for fair prices.

This was such a fun property! I wish I could stay here longer to hang out more. The yurts are adorable, they grow their own food, have a bar, a mini fridge in each room, you can cook and grill your own food in the kitchen, there’s multiple places around the property to hangout, there’s also a clothes line at each site for you to dry your clothes. Will 100% be back!

Some humidity in the appartment (but what can you do about it...). An oven would have been handy for cooking but we managed without it!

Clean and spacious apartment with great view on the surrounding mountains. The host gave us some good advices for hiking routes, which we followed without disappointment. The homemade poncha at the bar is also excellent 😊

It is a small cosy campsite with 5 or 6 tents. We really liked the view, the idyllic garden, the comfortable tents, the clean facilities and the nice bar serving freshly prepared poncha and sangria at a very good price.

The garden is spectacular with a lot of space to leisure and to socialize with other guests. There are a lot of fruits and vegetables growing. So well designed, thought and prepared for you to enjoy. You can also do laundry.
