Beds are a little uncomfortable. Umbrellas were removed while we were there and there wasn't a lot of shade on the beach.

Room cleanliness below fair, we found sand inside the bed sheets on the first day, and on the 4th day we found a cockroach coming from a hole in the kitchen sink. The staff animation on the outside is too excessive and too loud for those who are seeking to rest and to chill out.

I did not like my room, I do not know why the lady in the reception changed the room that was pre-arranged and it did not feel good. The employee entered my room around 10 o'clock in the morning without permission, and when she noticed my presence in the room, she left, and after she asked me when I check-out, it was not a nice and interesting thing at all ... Everywhere it is 12 o'clock in time. .... Why should an employee enter a room without permission? Other than that, everything was great.

Hello to all. I was there one night. The environment was calm and lovely. The beach and pool were great. I ate breakfast and lunch there and I loved the food very much. I especially liked their desserts. I'm not Portuguese and I do not know if these desserts are everywhere or not, but the desserts I ate at this hotel were excellent.

A little bit more far from the City Center. Another relict from the past in terms of accommodation sadly proves that owners don't want to invest in any facility improvement as there will always be tourists that are willing to pay for their stay.

The elevator was not working (and it looked like it had been a while) and the apartments we were staying in was a bit of a trek; the sofa bed in the living room was very uncomfortable; the gym and hot tub were not working; though advertised as being on the beach it is a good walk together there. To me it did not seem to be 4-star quality and I stay in many 4-star hotels.

The location was quite good. The breakfast buffet was sufficient. The bike rental was next to the hotel.

The bathroom in our room was very outdated. Room cleaning is very poor. We never got a bottle of water to our room except for the day of arrival. The bottle with liquid soap/gel in the shower was almost empty when we moved in. It was never refilled and on the last day of stay we had no soap at all. Many insects all around including our room and the main restaurant (ants, cockroaches). Sunbeds at the beach could be more affordable for the hotel's visitors. It's so silly to set such a high price for them while 90% of them were always empty.

The staff was pretty friendly. Meals were quite good. Location is great. Nice pools and entertainment program. The cleanliness of the common areas was quite good.

Some people might say that the elevators are slow and the rooms are too basic, but these are minor things that did not bother me at all.

Everything was great in this hotel from the delicious buffet meals where fish taste like fish and meat like meat, to the kindness and professionalism of the staff, that did not allow people to cut in the line while waiting for the check in. The rooms are quite big and there are always lots of things to do. I will surely come back and I highly recommend to chose the all inclusive option.

I was very disappointed by the spa, the pools were useless, almost like a retirement home spa area, and there was not even a sauna. The gym was very small and most machines were out of order. On top of everything, the "all inclusive" package is a joke, because it doesn't include room service or the food ordered via room service. Nor is there 24h access to anything, all is tied to a strict schedule. The reception was always slow, the food was medium quality. All of this is ok, but ok for a 4 start hotel and an all inclusive package.

The location was the only 4 start level feature, i loved the view from the room, the ocean, the mountain. The pool area was also very lovely

.Perfect beach location with stunning views. Guest always in focus. Client oriented always utterly helpful staff. Perfectly clean and comfortable rooms and apartments. An idyllic holiday site to escape December weather of North and Central Europe. Still within EU. I will definitely keep returning. Delicious meals in hotel restaurant. And more and more. Bike rental at site. Madeira and Desertas Isles in sight.

Too crowded. Drinks are not all inclusive since some brands they did not provided to us.. The gym was closed, and I made sure that the gym will be operating in the days that we booked the rooms
