Some of the garden areas are in need of maintenance but this didn’t affect our stay .

Beautiful country setting in orange and lemon orchard. Food in restaurant was exceptional and breakfast extensive . Staff (especially Omo) were welcoming and warm . Honesty outdoor bar . Pool table and a mini museum of so many unusual things in the restaurant give the place a unique feel .

Very special hotel. It is isolated and you really get to relax. Bring a book and sit by the pool. The place to de-stress. Dinner was delicious.

The setting, surrounded by orange and lemon trees. Country side location. Flexibility with breakfast times and checkout. Amazing place to recharge. Wonderful evening waiter, informed us about surrounding areas, wine and food of the region. Superior suite 7 is stunning with a free standing bath and amazingly done up.

Just some simple touches like providing complimentary water, rack to place luggage and more home made organic food like great granola and espresso coffee at breakfast. Rug needs a clean in the room.

There was no bathtub in the room although advertised. Breakfast is excellent but served quite late (from 9:30).

It is hard to point any downside... The only thing worth pointing: it was very difficult to take a shower without spilling water all over the bathroom floor

The facilities were very clean, comfortable and well design. Tha staff was discrete, yet very dedicated and eager to please. The meals were delicious and very well prepared. Overall the experience was exactly what we wanted. A rural escape, comfortable and sophisticated at the same time. Although there wer more guests at the time, we experience it as if we were the only guests. This will be a annual escape, for sure!

Breakfast isn’t available until 9:30! One couple left because they didn’t want to wait. Ridiculous. Also more lighting needed around the entrance areas! Road to property needs work.

Road to the location was pretty rough, but not so bad as to make the facility inaccessible by car.

Beautiful facility and excellent staff. Room was spacious and comfortable. Setting was extraordinary. Excellent breakfast. We also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant there.

Related to the rates breakfast was disappointing, it could have been a bit more engaged and easier to order additionals in the morning. We had to decide what to have for breakfast the evening before. The outdoor area at the restaurant is a nice spot but could be maintained with more engagement and heart! The private terrace is not really private because everyone passes to get to their rooms. Rooms haven‘t that much natural daylight. As there is only a small window at the back of the room you have to leave the front door open…

Imani is a wonderful place in the middle of nature. Perfect to relax and leave the world behind. We loved to enjoy the pool area while resting under olive trees. Our junior suite was nicely decorated, the terrace has a wonderful view to watch the sunrise. There are snacks to order all day around and there are dinner options at the restaurant. The property has many nice spots to discover and is full of nice artsy stuff…

Amazing location, stunning property. Very intimate and welcoming. Everyone makes you feel at home the moment you arrive. Our room was beautiful, and spacious. The staff are all lovely. The food was great and the flexible breakfast hours a bonus. The pool has a great size and setting. We did not want to leave (both adults and children). Overall it is one of the most relaxing places we have ever experienced.

There was nothing that could have been done better!

An exceptional boutique hotel in the middle of beautiful countryside, it is a completely modernised farm with 7 spacious and smart bedrooms, architect-designed and well-appointed and squeaky-clean. The property is dotted with a quirky mix of anrt and objects. The staff are delightful- Marianna the owner helps out when not at her own work in television and Antonio was an excellent host; both friendly and fascinating to talk to. There is an excellent chef on site for lunch and evening meals and many of the products are grown on the farm: they plan to produce their own olive oil and there are citrus groves, pomegranate, figs and all the other wonderful things Alentejo has to offer. Close to wonderful Evora and next to a significant megalithic site, there is a lot to explore if you can wrest yourself from the pool. We wished we could have stayed longer and hope to go back for a few more days for a wonderfully nourishing and relaxing stay in peaceful surroundings embedded in nature.

Leaving

Loved being in the countryside of Portugal picking fruit directly from the orchard trees. The food was amazing. Staff was so kind and great. Quiet & lovely.

The bathroom is a nightmare ., an architect on meth? Water sprays all over from the overhead shower( this could be corrected if the shower head were changed and the glass screen extended. The sunken bath should be removed altogether as it is terrifying . A major hazard.. The side tables are cheap and unstable.. and the wardrobe/ hanging space needs to be reconsidered.
