One suggestion would be to provide instructions on the washing machine controls in the apartment.

Location was within easy walking distance to hiking trails and the water. Great to have the restaurant and bar on-site, best Sangria ever! We were upgraded to a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment which was an excellent surprise. On-site parking was super easy. Bar staff was fun.

The mattrasses were horribly uncomfortable - like sleeping on solid wood, very very firm. Other than that, no complaints.

Everything was clean, spacious and well equipped for a very reasonable price, albeit maybe a bit outdated. The location is a bit of a walk to the centre of Carvoeiro, but nice and quiet with a beach within 5mins walk.

Freezing pool. Basic kitchen with 2 hob cooker. No breakfast bowls. Building work next door was far too loud and went on all day. We should have been warned and given the opportunity to cancel.

It was raining during our stay and we struggled to find things to do. We ended up at a retail outlet which was ok and no fault of the property but, some indoor facilities may have helped.

When I went to the hotel, the wifi of the hotel was broken, so I could not check in. I waited for about half an hour, discussed with the front office staff whether I could check in first, and then asked the manager to agree. It would be better if you could help me check in earlier

The first room for me has a high staircase, it is inconvenient for us to carry suitcases, after communicating with the front desk staff, she changed us to a more comfortable room, thank you! This hotel was found on short notice and is very good value for money

Unfortunately our house had the drain for the Aircon unit dripping water from the centre of first floor balcony down onto our only outside sitting area splashing a wide area, and rendering it unusable. An installation error as the outlet could have been routed to one side. Nothing else to comment on.

Quiet location but easy walking distance to great beaches and small towns. Lovely bar and Restaurant on site with good quality food and reasonable prices. Outside the door parking, good road network to get further afield for days out.

Nothing to not like about Pestana.

Location was good to reach town by foot. Beach very close walking distance too. Hiking trail also extremely close. Lodging was superb. Huge for 2 people. Bar/restaurant was great with bartender willing to share his personal information for tips to local area!

The restaurant was a separate entity and the breakfast a little pricey but food was freshly cooked and there was plenty of choice.

We were only there for one night but were upgraded from studio to villa and there would have been ample space and amenities for a family. The lighting was very effective, the grounds and pool nicely kept and we had a comfortable stay.

On our evening check in reception failed to mention they had not had running water in the complex since the morning. We noticed when we went to the room. Then reception said they MAY have water the next day. Luckily it all worked out but not great communication.

We loved the location, tons of space ,and my favorite was the patio and view.

Some facilities were closed due to the off-season.

The location was very close to great views over the cliff. Benagil and Praia da Marinha were all very close. It made the Algarve trip very comfortable. The restaurant was quite nice and the staff very friendly.

We had an upstairs apartment. Excellent size for 2 and everything we needed of or our stay. Very quiet as few guests. Could quick warm apartment with air con unit. Close to the beach (10 min walk) and cliffs at end of the grounds. Staff were excellent and accommodating. Would definitely return.

Kitchen needs more useful utensils. Pots and pans bit ghetto. Comfort control system needs upgrading and operating instructions for same needs to be on hand. Front door is paper thin wood. Maid Service needs some serious operational overhaul. Maid entered my bedroom while I slept. Snack menu at bar a bit pricy.

Bed and blanket quality is not so good, House is very chilled and AC is not efficient to keep the room warm. Breakfast is just OK OK. Not recommended this stay during Winter season.

We got partially sea view but still it was good, Pool looks great but cant use during winter season. We took Spa and Sauna which is very worth.

The shower - I hate Portuguese showers: antiquated mixing system (why not thermostat valves?), very difficult to get a steady desired water temperature, and a tiny shower head!
