wifi was weak

We had the top floor room what was greta, but if you haveay baggs it wil be an exerciuse. Room has everything what you need comfy beds and it was clean. Walikngh distance to the center and a great acai bar on the same streat. Also really close to Trindade metro. We would stay here again.

The bed was very firm but tolerable.

The staff was incredibly helpful. Pedro responded to our many email questions prior to arriving, and provided us with a map and multiple excellent recommendations for food and things to do during our stay. Our room was a nice size and had easy access to the city center and to one of the main metro stations. Only 10-15 minutes too and from the train station we came/left from.

The main hostel is a fantastic historical building, and I imagine rooms must be very nice. The studios are in a different building on a great street, and the staff asked if we would like the back room or the front room which must be noisier. If fact the back room was also facing the cobbled street so it was noisy! There were no shampoo, only one small soap.

It is a the heart of Porto, in the area full of nice bars and restaurants. Staff was very welcoming and friendly.

There was no breakfast. I think they should have had some. It was a lame excuse. Another covid excuse. In Lisbon two days earlier they served breakfast.

The heating didnt work so it was a bit cold. And the walls were very thin so we could hear all the noise from the other rooms.

It was very clean and the building was really nice. The location was perfect, everything was within walking distance.

The studio was in another building which per se it is not a problem, but we wished we would have known in advance. It also would have been nice to have some basic things like oil, sugar and salt in order to use the kitchen as many people don't want to buy them for only a short stay.

The studio was nice and in a good location and with new furniture. The staff was very friendly and always got back to us in a very short time. We were able to check in late at night. To our surprise we also got new towels after 2 days there.

My room was close to one of the communal bathrooms and I was woken up by people using it first thing in the morning. Also I could hear noise from outside- possibly a bar quite late into the night. I couldn’t see, just hear cheers and jeers. But I guess this is the compromise being so central…

Very contemporary. Decent location. Old grandeur, helpful staff. Tastefully done. Good outside space to chill out. Very clean. My room also had a balcony.

Worn-out room equipment, non-functional air conditioning, non-functional entrance door lock. Noise from surrounding rooms and common areas. Generally, noise from around the hotel and unattractive surroundings.

First, one of the bathroom could not be used because one of the guests stole the key, thus more than 10 guests had to share one bathroom including toilet and shower, which meant if one person is in the shower, other more than 10 guests cannot use neither the toilette nor sink. Second, the hostel’s location was close to the major station, however it was also close to the bars and it was very noisy until midnight.

The staff was kind and helpful, and the facility was overall clean.
