Amazing location. Steps from the Douro River. Many restaurants nearby. Hotel room was very clean. Staff was super nice and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Variety of milks and coffees. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We loved everything about this hotel. The new boutique hotel was lovely. Incredibly comfortable bed and divine linens. Beautiful architectural details. The staff were amazing. Very helpful, polite and friendly. Thank you to all. Breakfast was delicious and varied. Fabulous location on the river and short walk to Sao Bento station. Port and chocolates at reception. Environmentally friendly bathroom dispensers. This was our favourite accommodation on our trip.

The only exception is that we could occasionally hear neighbours and walking inside the building from our room, but we still slept very well. It’s a very young hotel and it’s surely going to build a very nice reputation.

Great little gem we found ! Right next to the historical center but just outside of the intensity and loudness of the city center of Porto. It’s located in a very charming area right next to the river and the historical streets and houses. Excellent service from the hosts. Pedro and Miguel were very kind, they welcomed us with a glass of porto and they gave excellent recommandations for activities in the city and restaurants. They were very attentive to our needs during our stay. The breakfast included was one of the best we’ve had in Portugal - very complete with eggs, meat, pastries, cheese, fresh juice and all the types of coffees you could want. The chef greated us every morning and offered to accommodate us with anything else we might have needed, which was never needed since the food was already great (and all included in the booking). This hotel is extremely clean and charming with a nice touch of luxury. It smelled good when we entered our room and we really liked how they incorporated the old parts of the building to the modern decor of the hotel as this building is a historical artefact protected by UNESCO. Don’t get fooled by the 2 stars, this felt like a 5 star hotel to us. They just don’t have the space to have their own restaurant, gym, pool and consequently, they don’t qualify for more stars.

The staff are amaizng. The receptionist guy is fantastic and so polite. They are so helpful and respectful . I have been in Porto many times and many different hotels or apartments. And this one has been the bedtime experience I have ever had about a hotel in Porto. Definitely I will go back there . They are super helpful and sensitive even about alot of small details. Location is amazinh and near to everyone.

I have been to a lot of places around the world and I have stayed to a numerous hotels. I think that my experience in Ribeira Douro Hotels is one of finest I ve ever experienced. The location is ideal. The establishment is fantastic. Everything is brand new and the quality of the products that the hotel is using is very high. The stuff was the best part of experience cause they surprised me at my birthday and I have to mention that. Even at Christmas time there was a treat for us. We felt like home and we didn't wanna go. We are most certainly coming back and I have to thank everyone at the stuff for their kindness and their professionalism. Thank you guys again and again. OBRIGADO

Beautiful! Recently renovated and is a hidden Gem! Wonderfully greeted by Pedro and he shared a lovely glass of Port. Room was EXCEPTIONAL! Bedding was so divinely comfortable, pillows too! I melted into the bed and slept great! Slippers and robe. Shower was refreshing Breakfast was spectacular warm delicious. Pedro provided me with a clothed lined tray to carry food back to room AND he even carried it back for me! WONDERFUL! SPECTACULAR to all the details

Hotel very well located with large and very comfortable rooms. Very good breakfast available, members of staff very friendly and welcoming ask to see Ricardo, he is amazing!!! This property should be rated as a 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ hotel instead of 2 stars. It is definitely downrated for what you get and full experience. Property it is now in our list of favourites we will definitely come back there ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
