Great hotel at a good price including a rich breakfast, free parking in front of the door, 200 walk to the wide sandy beach with dunes, attentive reception staff, very large rooms with balcony and view, free mineral water and delicious Portuguese cookies, I'll be happy to come back

Star Inn Peniche is perfectly located for the beach, a 3 minute walk puts you on the golden sands of the beach. Very nice spacious room, clean and tidy.Great choices for breakfast, cooked, cereal, fruits, pastries etc. plenty of hot drink choices. Very polite and friendly staff. Well priced too.

The top floor rooms barely have a view of the ocean, more of the dunes. The bathrooms have no ventilation so towels etc. are constantly damp. Cramped bathroom, you have to either hang towel or bath mat on hook above the bidet. Stayed 3 nights, they supplied bottled water on arrival but didn't restock each day like other hotels. Breakfast was average.

Noise can he heard from neigbouring rooms. Other than that hard to fault it, we had a great stay.

No separate shower, very small toothpaste which we had forgotten had to be bought (€2,50) together with toothbrush. Dinner in restaurant was not the best (very oily) but waiters great. Price in low season relatively high.

Location great, from our sea view room view on waves possible. Room was relatively large, bed was OK, on the hard side but that was fine. Bathroom with bath was nice.. Swimming pool available which alas we couldn’t use, caps have to be bought. Breakfast fine. Fast check out. The hotel itself is a bit older, but nicely kept.

As we were only there for one night we did not use the pool as they wanted users to wear bathing hats. (These can be bought at the hotel).

It was a large hotel with easy access through the dunes opposite to the beach. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast excellent. The dining room was pleasant and we had a good meal in the evening. Parking was beside the hotel in it's own parking area

A very nice hotel. The rooms are spacious, the beds are giant (180 cm wide). Located in a 2-minute walk to the ocean. The indoor swimming pool is very warm and works even during the winter. The staff is very kind and always helpful. There’s also a surfing rental and lessons directly in the hotel, and you’re allowed to store your surfboards and wetsuits in the room.

The tv is a bit funky to work with and i but limited but does have a nice clear image.

The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is close to everything. The food is good and the staff super friendly. The view from my room was nice enough but i am sure the views from the other side are much nicer. The bed was huge and very comfy. All in all a very good and relaxing visit.

Everything, starting with the hotel staff, the location, which is very close to the beach (just on the opposite side of the street), rooms are spacious and comfortable, and with a touch of the Portuguese clean artsy interior design. It is a 3 star but it could be surely rated as a 4 star hotel.

We liked everything about our stay.

I did not do breakfast, My husband did, and he enjoyed it. We enjoyed the room, It was comfortable and had an ocean view. We did not partake of the pool. We will return with family another time.

Amazing hotel right across from the beach. Spacious room, comfortable beds, the bfast buffet was delicious, with tons of variety. Wish I could have stayed longer. Such a cute, bright and fun hotel, great value and in a small, beautiful beach town. I would definitely stay here again.

The sea view doesn't exist and there is a busy road outside these rooms. There is no view to enjoy if you sit on the balcony. The bathroom is tired and in need of modernisation

The room is very spacious, bright, airy and modern. There is a great selection for the buffet breakfast with staff constantly replenishing the food. The pools and surrounding areas are spotless.

The hotel is situated 1.5 km from the primary marina restaurant and shopping area, with a busy road to cross to access it. The walk to the marina is not picturesque. The staff at the hotel was hit or miss regarding friendliness or helpfulness. Peniche itself has a strong fish processing smell that often reaches the hotel.

The facility was modern and clean. Breakfast was good. We had a view of the ocean and a nice balcony to enjoy it. The hotel is just across the street from an attractive beach where one can take surf lessons.

The bathroom has a bit of a strong smell from the cleaning products, even after opening the windows the smell stayed. The pool could be a bit more cleaner.

The hotel is very close to the beach, very nice staff and good breakfast. The reception looks very chic and fancy. Big room.
