We really liked staying at Cecilia's place. She was a fantastic host who gave us all sorts of information about Madeira and good suggestions. She was always willing to be of help. She gifted us with a bottle of wine and a lovely cake!

Very nice host, helpful, no problems with anything. Nice terrace. Good prize. Clean. Good equipment. No problems with parking near the pharmacy. Everything i was expecting from discription.

A bigger supermarket was a bit far (it's good when you have a car).

Beautiful view and Cecília was a very nice host. There is a bus stop very near by and a farmacy.

The road is very steep, it is better to park nearby and walk to the house.

First of all, a truely nice host :) Wonderful view, peaceful neighborhood. The apartment was cozy, clean and comfortable, equipped in anything you need. Great spacious terrace as well! My family absolutely loved it ❤

The appartment is very small; the sofa is uncomfortable; the dining table is too small; the stairs to the bedroom are a bit awkward.

From the terrace you have a magnificent view over the ocean at sunset. It has good access to Paul da Serra with its splendid walks along levadas to waterfalls.

Wonderfull ocean and valley view. Cute and well equiped appartment, with sleeping room upstairs. Nice and helpfull host Cecilia. Quite, just some village noise. Good connection to all island and levadas. Close to Rabacal tunnel, very recomended. Close beaches and shops. Of course, you need a car, it is usual in Madeira.

I loved the family that hosted me. So friendly and warm. The area is incredible, and the view from the balcony was worth the flight over to the Island. I will be coming back to this very spot.

In our apartment, doors to the bathroom were thin and harmonica type - you should consider this if you go there as couple or more people, to feel comfortable.

Miss Cecília is exceptionally kind, she welcomed us with bottle of wine and cake, and made us another cake during our stay. The view from the terrace is beautiful. I loved to stay there and would stay again if ever could. It has great value to the price ratio.

The host Cecilia was so helpful and nice. When I arrived to the house there was small Madeira wine and homemade cake waiting for me. I felt very welcome. The apartment was clean, had a fully equipped kitchen and a balcony with gorgeous sea view! big plus was that I was able to check-in little bit earlier due to my bus schedule. If traveling without a car like I did, the place is easy to reach as the Rodoeste ( E.R 222) bus stop is right next to the house👍🏻 The best part was that the house wasn't too close to the Calheta tourist area (Sandy beach) where more larger hotels are located, but still had restaurants and good hiking routes nearby.😊

Nothing not to like! Perhaps a few more mugs/cups/bowls might be useful. Beds not the most comfortable, but for the location and price it was exceptional and we would definitely return.

Think shower need some renovation to be as good as the rest of apartment.

Really nice guest house with a lot of space and nice view terrace. Defiantly for those who like walking up and down :) cause beach and levada is around 20-30 minutes walk. The kitchen has everything one might need. Maria was very friendly and helpful.

It was a wonderful experience.. Cecilia is a lovely person, she was always helpful for everything we need. The apartment has an incredible view and was very clean and with everithing you need for your stay. I really reccomend to stay there also dor the location that is perfect for exploring the entire island. I will choose it again next time i will go to Madeira!

I think (because of consistently bad weather) the towels smelled very odd (mildewy), likely because they hadn’t dried fully after washing (because of the intense humidity). I also wouldn’t recommend the apartment to older people with lots of baggage as there is a steep hill to where you park your car and narrow pathways and stairs to reach the apartment. That said, we really loved this place and the host is excellent. We hope to stay there again, during better weather!

The host was absolutely lovely and very attentive, the apartment was well appointed, spotlessly clean, with all one could need. The view would be excellent, unfortunately the weather was atrocious (consistent rain and gales), so we didn’t get to make the most of it.
