The shower, lovely hot water and high pressure, but just can’t help but wetting the floor outside.

Location, quietness, space for parking motorcycles, the friendly staff. Turned off the air conditioning and the fridge in the room and had the quietest night in months, bed is comfy and it was great. So great I returned the second night.

The room with the rooftop pool was a brilliant idea. A really nice breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was so clean and how soon we opened the door we can feel how good it smells.

missing car charging plugs the breakfast should be changed to full self-service buffet price a bit high for the place

There is nothing in particular that I did not like. I think there should be few mentions 1. There are no groceries stores nearby. you would have to drive 2 Km to get any thing. 2. The same goes for fuel. Keep in mind that nearest one was around 5km. Maybe there is another there but I couldn't find.

TLDR; Its a great place to wind down. 1. I selected the location of the hotel for the dark skys as I'm an amatuer astronomer. I was not disappointed. So the location was great for my liking. It is quite far from any major places. 2. As this is far away from other places, it is really pollution free and really nice. There are farms around but you hear dogs, probably wolfs as well howling. 3. The castle on Monsaraz is nice. Nothing spectacular but well mainted. 4. The service was really great. clean place, always cleaned everyday. 5. They do not have a restaurant in the hotel but they do serve really nice breakfast and snacks are available till late into the night. 6. There are nice restaurants around and the hotel can give all the information. 7. The two pools are also great. They are clean and maintained well well.

Breakfast really lets this place down. Buffet-style breakfast stuck in covid era when you cannot even pick a yoghurt from the table and have to ask staff to pass it to you...limited choice of food and coffee was very disappointing. Shame as it's such a lovely place and in such a beautiful setting.

The location is great within very close proximity to Monsaraz and a few local restaurants just a few minutes walk away. Lovely pool area with stunning views. Friendly staff. Clean and spacious rooms.

Parking a bit tight entering Vila. Restricted to 2 local restaurants 1 closing Monday as only there Sunday and Monday drove up to Monsaraz itself (only 5 minute drive) where there were a few restaurants - booking advisable - fantastic views and more selection on menu.

Good breakfast. Served snacks ie pizza soup etc up to 10.30pm and drinks until midnight. Very friendly staff. 2 pools with plenty of space around and beds also under trees for shade. Quite a few children but not noisy.

Absolute dream of a local hotel—staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, the room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed, and the location and surroundings are lovely. A great place to explore the area or just relax by the pool and enjoy the scenery. We will be back!
