Since the hostel is a little close to the airport, you can hear all the planes all day long. It's not about the hostel tho, I'm just saying.

The bathroom in the third floor seemed a bit dirty and the roof of the bathroom of the second floor is leaking. I think they should consider fixing that immediately and maybe remodeling the bathroom in the third floor which is all wood for some strange reason. I guess that is the reason for the leak downstairs from it. Anyway, fixing that immediately will prevent great damage and costs to this establishment in the future.

It’s a nice little place and is in a good location between to major metro lines.

Very nasty bathrooms, very noisy until early am. There is no door between the main dormitory and the lobby so the sound really carries everywhere.

The assigned locker in the room was closed for some reason, and the staff couldn't manage to resolve the situation. Fortunately, I was going to stay only one night. In the morning around 08:00 there was nobody from the staff around, and I couldn't find them or contact anyhow because I didn't know if they are even there, there were no signs or instructions except the phone number that nobody picked up either by cellular or WhatsApp. I wanted to get my things back that I asked to put at the reception because of the locked situation above. This made me stress because I almost became late to the bus and had to run all the way through the streets afterwards, thanks to the guy who also wanted to check out in the morning and helped me to find one person from the staff sleeping in one of the separate rooms.

Overall politeness of the staff and cleanness of the hostel and facilities. Other tenants there were nice. The place looks and feels safe. You can find anything you will need for your stay.

The room itself was very hot with no ventilation or a decent fan.

The property is in a safe location, the Spanish embassy is across the street, embassies don’t stay in unsafe locations.

I wrote them in advance that my bus was to arrive in Sete Rios at 6:15AM, but when I arrived the hostel door was locked, they hadn't given me the entry code in advance, so I had to sit outside until the receptionist opened at 9AM. :( The Palestine flag in the lobby. :( I would rather keep politics out of my travelling. Their drier doesn't work and they don't have enough pegs to hang the laundry outside. Some parts could use some paint, like the ceiling of the shower. They hide a lovely azulejo in the lobby behind another painting, that's a shame. :( The staff is new to Lisbon, so when I asked some more complicated questions they couldn't help.

I actually stayed 2 weeks and a half. until Aug 14. The staff is really serious about cleaning the place, and also gave me a rechargeable navegante card for free! The tables in the lobby are comfortable for working on a laptop. The garden is also nice. :) Each bed has a curtain for privacy, a personal fan, light, electric plugs and a locker. I love the neighbourhood with the old colourful tiles :) It's conveniently located close to busses, metro, trains and a supermarket.

The whole hostel seemed a bit old, not too clean and the showers weren't private so I was scared someone might have come in *thankfully didn't happen* A bit far from the city centre but really close to the metro and to the airport. So if you spend a night out, you might have to take a taxi back to the hotel or walk like I did *which was almost an hour back haha*

I really liked the staff, they were really kind and understanding. Make sure to bring your padlock as they don't offer it. The kitchen is good if you want to cook something and the room is quite spacious, it's a typical hostel where you will get your moneys worth.

There was no oven top hobs available to cook, for example I couldn't make pasta. There was a microwave and a sandwich toaster, but limited kitchen facilities if you wish to save money with cooking.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, the beds were curtained and well equipped, it was clean and pleasant. there was a nice garden area and sitting areas. Overall a very nice place to stay.

I made my reservation 6 months in advance for an all-female dormitory bed. When I arrived, I was informed that the dorms were now mixed. This was disconcerting at first, but it soon became clear this was not a concern. People were respectful.

I chose this hostel because of its location near the Gulbenkian Foundation. It turned out to be better than expected, because both are located within walking distance from the San Sebastian Metro stop (on Red or Blue Lines). This also makes it very accessible from the Lisbon Airport. A very nice Lidl supermarket was also a few blocks away. However, in addition to all the other conveniences, the managers made me feel so welcome when I arrived late, about 10:00 PM, owing to delays at the Airport and on the Metro. I had a reservation, but I was worried because some hostels will try to fill beds. Not in my case. They welcomed me. I will always remember them and will not forget the gracious smiles of the hosts.

My kid found an unfinished beer bottle while exploring the room. Probably left by previous guests. So a little bit more attention to cleaning would be nice.

Awesome location of the hostel close to El Corte Ingles shopping mall and also walking distance to Sete Rios bus/train station. The building itself is old, but interesting and cozy. The bed was super comfy and smelled good!! I liked staying there.

Second time I've stayed at the White House. It is a simple inexpensive and very convenient overnight stay. I came in on a flight that arrived late and I needed to catch a bus to go north which left first thing in the morning. Staying at the White House was convenient, simple and very good value
