“WORST Booking experience for 20 years. Property denied us to check-in!!
Property advertised wrong check-in hour in Booking App (23h00). Hours before 23h00 they wrote check-in was closed. That's it.
Result: we had to stop and reorganise our journey, book another hotel, etc.
Extremly annoying and unprofessional.
And: until today no refund! Property keeps the money, although it was their fault. Unbelievable!”
“The hosts were very welcoming to us and our dogs and we were encouraged to use the shared outside space. The basement flat which was lovely and cool in hot weather, was spacious, well equipped, crisp and clean. It's location in the quiet village is just a few minutes walk from the harbour, shops (don't miss the smoked fish and various herring delights) and pine-fringed beach. Highly recommended.”
“Lovely property out in the countryside so wonderfully quiet. Facilities were great with everything needed to refrigerate and prepare food as required during our stay.
Owners greeting was a pleasure and included lots of local information as well on places to eat and shop and local maps and brochures provided in various languages. Being in the countryside, getting to restaurants and shops involves travelling 3-4 km by walking or cycling to Solvesborg itself. We were provided with 3 bikes (two electrically assisted!) Which made trip to the town very easy, quick and enjoyable. Alternative would be to drive to town which is probably 9-10 km or use local taxi firm which we found to be reliable and fairly reasonably priced.
We'd throughly recommend this property for those wishing to visit the area. 🙂”
