How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Warm pool water
The design ; modern mixed with traditional Thai . Staff were perfect . Rooms were perfect . Location was very convenient . The pool was super warm and I mentioned to the staff and I am sure they fixed it but we did not have time for it again . Staff helped us book many activities and their restaurant and spa option were fantastic . I will stay here again for sure

The breakfast was 3/5. Would preferred a buffet breakfast, but you can order as much as you like.
The hotel is well designed. Great and quiet location.

The pool was rather warm, which was not ideal in the hot weather.
Very nice hidden gem within a great location. Very clean and felt upscale. Staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive helping to organise a private driver for a day trip. The breakfast selection was good. A very comfortable room with a great theme and setting. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

The parking lot surface was very rough and gave a bit of unsecured feeling while parked at night.
The facilities in the hotel are good, lovely decorations styles.

The door for my room wouldn't close properly itself so the alarm would ring and I'd have to go back and close it every time. My sink was a bit small.
Almost everything was wonderful, the staff were accommodating and helpful.

Diving area was limited in seating which made breakfast difficult to organise.
Everything. The decor was lovely. The facilities were great. English speaking staff who were incredibly helpful. Cleanliness & top notch service. They were able to accomodate my request for a chair in the shower as I had a fractured ankle and could not stand to shower.

This property should be 5 star! Everything was amazing from the minute we checked in to the minute we checked out. Very central location yet when you’re in the hotel you don’t feel like you’re in the middle of a bustling area as it is so quiet and calm. The rooms are gorgeous as are the grounds of the property. We had breakfast included with our stay and as we were checking out before breakfast began on our final day, they gave us bags to take away. Highly recommend this hotel!

Very clean, and surprisingly quiet for being off the main road. Would definitely recommend this place for a more luxury feeling in the middle of the bustling downtown. Croissants and jam every morning and the heated pool were just a few highlights!

The noise on the third floor. Can hear loud music, sound of vehicles passing and dog barking at night
Location is good, everything is close by like restaurants, convenience store, currency exchange and shopping mall. The staff are sweet and helpful .

Everything was great
One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in! The staff was beyond kind. Ready to help you and always with a smile:) They even wrote us a note and left a cute detail for us in the room. We really appreciated that. The facilities are clean, modern and very comfortable. Very close to markets and city centre. The best thing was the heated pool. You can swim and relax even if it rains! Great attention to detail!!

The gym could have some more equipment
It's such a quaint, cozy place where it is easy to feel at home. The staff is lovely and the size of the hotel makes it that by the end of your stay they will know exactly what your needs are. The location is also great as most sights are within walking distance!

The breakfast was pretty average and portions were very small but it just meant we got to go out and try more delicious food nearby. Not much to complain about, one of our favourite place wE stayed in Chiang Mai!
The staff were lovely, the place was clean, really nicely decorated and a really cool vibe and the bar there!! Loved the bar. If you get a chance, check out the little bar there. The staff in the bar were lovely, drinks were some of the best I've had and the cocktail menu was so amazingly done that we even asked to buy the menu because of how cool it was. It's in a really good location close to the gate but also close to downtown and all the cool little bars and restaurants - especially great if you're vegetarian or vegan.

The staff is wonderful, the breakfast is immaculate, and the location is perfect. Highly recommend for a luxurious stay while also being in the city and close to the known spots in Chang Mai.

Its next to one of the disco’s in Chiang mai, so there is a lot of noise at night. The pool is heated to 32 degrees, nice for relaxing but not to cool off after a hot day.
Big and comfortable beds, everything you could wish for was available in the room, beautiful and modern design, everything still felt super new.

Minimal loungers/ space at the pool area so can get crowded. Air con in the room can take a while to kick-in/ feel.

We stayed for 6 nights and it was wonderful. The location is super convenient, the hotel is beautiful (tasteful decor) and the staff was super nice. The included breakfast was fun, they cleaned our room everyday (they were like ninjas), the pool was nice, I mean I’m not sure what more we could’ve asked for? We would absolutely stay they again.

Absolutely perfect location. Close to everything. Noted previous complaints of noise in reviews but we had no concerns and they revised ear plus anyway. Beautiful bath on the balcony made for a lovely relaxing evening. Good choice of breakfast and high quality food. Staff were helpful arranging excursions. My partner and I loved the pool. We travelled in wet season and the pool was heated which made for the perfect relaxing experience in the evening. Excellent housekeeping. AC worked well. Couldn’t recommend this hotel more.
