Maybe 5km from town but excellent shuttle service

This was a real find, so much so we extended our original 3 nights to a week. Shuttle bus offsets the issue of being slightly out of town.

It is about 5km away from the city center, so there are not many amenities within walking distance. But there are sufficient facilities within the hotel, and it is a peaceful location.

Room was big with a king sized bed. Bed was really soft and comfortable, like a cloud. Cute cafe/restaurant next to the hotel lobby and scenic rooftop bar and pool where you can catch the sunrise. Appreciate the free shuttle service to the city center too, and for helping to store our bags at the reception after check out. A really good place for the price :)

Some might say the distance to town (it was under 15 mins) but we actually liked everything about the hotel.

We experienced a modern hotel that came with charming old world hospitality. The hotel staff were exceptional in their kindness.

Wasn’t much to not like however the laundry service was terrible. We had been travelling around Thailand and came across the laundry service. I thought it would be a good opportunity to get it done before we left the following day. I dropped it off early the day before we were due to check out. It was probably my mistake but I didn’t ask how long it would take or how much. I said to reception later that day we were leaving early the next day to drive to Bangkok. They rang me that night to say it wouldn’t be ready until 11am the following day. We delayed our departure and then was surprised to find it was just over 1000bht. I definitely wouldn’t recommend using that service.

We loved the decor and design of this hotel. The 7th floor pool area is so nice, so many cool spaces to hang out and catch the breeze. Kids loved the pool and was a great are to relax. Room was a good size, very comfortable bed. The breakfast was good. Staff friendly apart from one young guy. We had a car so didn’t mind it being a little out of town.

The location next to the highway made it a bit difficult to walk around the area, however the free shuttle bus service they offered was fantastic!

Some stuffs in the room got stained like pillow and whale doll full of obvious yellow stains

everything was just perfect.

The warm friendly reception was outstanding. My luggage was taken from the taxi to the reception quickly. Taken to the room by means of the lift, which i missed in another hotel downtown. My first positive impression was confirmed durin my 4 nichts of stay. Thanks also to Miss Eu especially for her professional care and finding the lost roomkey after all. The lobby with the breakfast aerea are most inviting and beautyfully decorated and built. Very clean as well. A Coi basin was next to the restaurant which has also many plants arround. The room was very modern and comfortable. Everything worked and was very well cared for. The roomstuff freshed up the room daily, and two not working lightbouls were repaced in a minute. 10 points also here. The offered Food was very delicious and even served at the infinity pool. Here i had time to relax and enjoy the sight to the beach. One of the best hotels i`ve ever been to. The shuttle service was very punctual, friendly and free of cost. I love to go back one day and enjoy my time in this beautiful place. Thanks to all the stuff of the Huahin Whale Hotel.

Some lack of attention to cleanliness in room. Not really beach access although description says 650 m to beach. pool area needs a bit of attention but I’m nit picking really just some rust stains from steps.

Staff very helpful, breakfast and meal lovely and well priced. Massive comfy bed, in fact most comfy bed of this trip. Roof top pool and gym facilities great and shuttle bus brilliant for getting in and out of town.

Breakfast menu is ok but repetitive.

Very pleasant and helpful staff, always ready to help. A friendly smile goes a long way. Sports facilities, swimming pool and pool table available 24/7. Room very comfortable and cleaned every day from 3 cleaners. Just around the corner from the hotel you can have you laundry done very cheap.

Location was ok but not ideal being on the far side of the highway from the beach.

The staff were so helpful, they responded quickly and arranged anything we ask for and made you feel they really cared you enjoyed your time. The bedroom was well designed to cater for all your needs, and the bathroom with spa bath was fantastic. The rooftop pool and bar were awesome and a fitness centre for those inclined that way. The restaurant was very nice although we only had breakfast which was top class.

Very nicely designed hotel with lovely attention paid to details. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff! Beautiful clean room, very nice amenities and, nice balcony. Breakfast is great! Wonderful roof-top pool, a nice hide-out after a day in Hua Hin. The hotel has a free shuttle to and from the city center every other hour or upon request, an excellent service We‘d always come back!
