Loved the vibe of this place. Calm, friendly and organised. Close proximity to museum and Dervish performance. Traditional fenced garden around this homelike hotel. Excellent quality of food served at breakfast. Professional, friendly and helpful owner. Bought a small carpet from here also. No hassling and it arrived exactly as said without any problems at all.

Nothing to not like about this place.

An authentic people-oriented Turkish experience. Muammer was an exceptional host going the extra mile to answer questions and accommodate all our requests. Kind-hearted hospitality from all staff with attention to detail. A homely experience in totality, starting a plentiful, fresh, delicious breakfast. Location perfect to access Mevlana’s museum, restaurants, shops, etc.

Everything was great.

If you are looking for an authentic experience where you meet and truly get to connect with locals then this is the place for you. The owner Mehmet is what makes this place special. My dad and 6 year old son stayed here and felt like we were staying at a relatives home as Mehmet was so accommodating and helpful. Location is terrific, as you can reach the bazaar, restaurants, Dervish experience, Rumis tomb etc. All within walking distance. We travel a lot around the world and this is one of the best hotels I've stayed in with truly warm and welcoming hospitality. Highly recommend this place.

Only the empty lots nearby but that’s because of Urban renewal.

When we first drove up I was nervous because there were empty lots next to the hotel and an unimpressive little sign. But as soon as we stepped in the gates it was a little funky oasis. We had driven and had free parking behind a gate. But we didn’t move after that because everything was within walking distance. We could walk to the Meehan’s Museum, the bazaar and many other places very easily. The owner recommended a restaurant really close by that was homey, inexpensive, accommodated our vegetarianism (in fact, at the hotel owners suggestion, they made us a special eggplant dish). Although very inexpensive, our room was large and comfy. A nice breakfast was included in the price. The owner was the best part: I felt like I was in his home. When we got there he was essentially babysitting for another guest’s kid. He offered us Mulberries from his own trees. The owner has a rug shop on site. His brother is a respected rug dealer-it turns out that a friend of mine from Boston who used to be a rug collector knows him. So I decided to look at his rugs and he patiently helped me find one I liked in my (not high) price point. It was a fun experience and I think I got a good deal.

Location was excellent for access to the Mevlana (which was our reason for visiting Konya) and the old town. Our Host was excellent - he was very helpful and welcoming and he gave a good recommendation for dinner. The ambiance of the 200 year old house was enhanced by the kilims on the floors. The breakfast was very good and plentiful.

This is not a hotel, but a warm and welcoming house, so it gives a feeling of being home. The beds are super comfortable, breakfast is great, the location is excellent, close to Rumi's tomb and few other attractions in the city center, they have a small parking for few cars, we felt safe in parking inside their court.

Nothing, it was perfect :)

The welcome, the hospitality, the atmosphere, the room, the advice. A manager who listens and who introduces us to Turkish traditions, gives us advice on what to visit and the good restaurants in the area. He also helped us book a taxi to the airport. The breakfast was very good and varied, we discovered quite a few new foods. Finally, what can we say about the room and the guest house, which is sublime!

This hotel is one of the best Turkish hotels we've ever stayed at. Firstly, its location is excellent, with iconic attractions in Konya just a few minutes' walk away, making it very convenient. The hotel building has a lot of character, with well-equipped interiors that are very clean and comfortable, with shining floors. The owner is warm and friendly, able to identify guests' needs keenly and offer assistance proactively. Upon our arrival, he provided us with travel routes and restaurant suggestions, saving us a lot of trouble. He was always quick to respond to our needs. One evening, when we wanted to go out for dinner but encountered heavy rain, he took the initiative to drive us to the restaurant when we were at a loss. His attention to detail in service brought us a warm feeling of being at home. There's also a small carpet shop in the hotel, where the owner enthusiastically introduced us to the different types of Turkish carpets and their rich cultural significance. Unfortunately, as our journey had just begun, and we had many more miles ahead, we couldn't make a purchase. Although we only stayed one night at this cozy and lovely hotel, everything here left a deep impression on me, and the wonderful experience will forever stay in my heart.

Really warm and friendly welcome from the owners. The house is simple but clean and the room was super comfortable. The hotel is within easy walking distance of all the main sites and the owner takes the time to direct you and share recommendations. As we were travelling on to Sagalassos from Konya, the owner also took the time to share other places we could stop at on the way. Breakfast was vast and the freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious!

The staff was very helpful and the accommodations were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very generous and delicious. They recommended several places of interest and two restaurants. All their recommendations were perfect for our wants. The location was an easy walk to most places of interest.

The co-owner Muammer made us feel so welcome. He gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation and even drove us to the dolmuş stop the next morning so we could catch a ride to the bus terminal. The breakfast was gorgeous and tasty.

Everything about this hotel was amazing! The breakfast was a large assortment of cheese, bread, olives and sweets. The owner went above and beyond to help me out and make suggestions on things to see in Konya. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had great water pressure and was very hot! The owner offered to bring me to the bus station which was so kind. When I travel I appreciate learning various aspects of the culture. It was interesting to discuss different international geopolitical events with the owner. After the hustle and bustle of Istanbul Konya was a much needed place to relax a bit. I would highly recommend staying here on your visit to Konya.

There is a busy road in front of the property that may get noisy, however it wasn't a problem for us.

Location is very central, staff is very helpful and provide recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants. They recommended a dervish sema. Safe secure carpark available. Excellent breakfast. Very clean and comfortable room. Beautiful traditional property. Next time I'm visiting Konya I would definitely stay here again.
