The location was very convenient and accessible to old city attractions. They offered spacious room, nice breakfast and a free access to their Sauna / Turkish bath (self service). The hygiene condition was good. Front desk staff were polite and helpful. Will stay again if we come back to Istanbul!

The location, cleanliness, food and the staff. Ersin and Sylia at the front desk were the best I have ever met. Ersin upgraded my room to a one bedroom suite at no cost. I will surely stay in the hotel again.

All was ok but note that the roof terrace view is ok for the Bospherus view, but the height of the tree line is blocking most of the view towards the blue mosque.

Superb location close to lots of sites and restaurants across the street and around the corner. Tram line 1 will take you even further. Nice touch was the welcome package which had included some snacks, fruits and a nice warm chocolate oatmeal cookie. Tours and boat trips can be booked easily in the hotel or are close to the hotel to organise yourself.

The hotel did not have a swimming pool which would have been great. Breakfast was great but perhaps could have been served on the roof terrace which may encourage guest to use that lovely facility more for the evening dinners.

Reception at check in was very welcoming and Fatih found a room to accommodate us for early check which we really appreciated after our long night flight. He also included complementary breakfast for our stay which was an unexpected bonus. The hotel was so close to all the key tourist locations we wanted to visit and hotel guest relations was very helpful in advising on tour packages as well as how to do and see things by ourselves.

DoubleTree made the trip to Istanbul very enjoyable. Its location and comfortable rooms made it a good choice. Its easy walking distance to Sultanahmed, the historic district. Our experience was elevated by an excellent customer service provided by Anastasia. For us, it helped raise the hotel's rating from good to excellent. She was very knowledgeable about Istanbul and very helpful. She would be there at breakfast and mingle with the guests there and check on their stay. She was quickly able to answer many questions that we about Istanbul and resolve issues that we had during our stay.

It was a very happy honeymoon, thanks to the kindness of three wonderful staff members. Anastasia check and give us honeymoon service so we were very happy! Erin and Enes, It was a great experience visiting the hotel, especially because Erin kindly remembered our room number and laughed off any issues, making us feel like we wanted to visit Hilton again next time. Asking for the staff's name for positive reasons as we visited the hotel was a good experience.

I stayed in room 602 for 4 night from 10 - 14 April 2024. All the rooms on the top floor have views on the Old City and partly on the Bosphorus. On the top floor is a good restaurant with views on the city. The hotel is right next to Gulhane Park and 300 meters from Gulhane Tram station. Sirkeci Metro station exit 2 is right next to the hotel. The area around the hotel is nevertheless remarkably quiet at night and I had a good night's sleep every night. The staff at Reception - in particular Burak and Sylia - gave excellent service ! I also have to mention Thaw who kept my room clean and tidy. Every morning there was quite a large selection of cold and hot dishes for breakfast. Around the hotel there are several restaurants and small markets. Sultanahmet Mosque (Blue Mosque), Hagia Sophia,Topkapi Palace and Basilica Cistern are a few minutes walk away. I shall stay at that hotel again.
