The staff at Göreme Cave Lodge are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They make a great effort socialising with their guests and making personal connections. The pool was a life saver in the hot temperatures, being able to cool down after exploring. Staff also brought a lot of fun, playing ball with us around the pool. The room was large and comfortable, with a huge bathroom. They also provided an extra pillow and blanket when we asked, as we found the duvet a bit too small to share. The location is perfectly central and there was always parking space available outside. The rooftop had a great viewing platform for seeing the balloons fly over! Nothing beats going to one of the viewpoints and seeing the balloons fly over the valleys, but it was still great to get up a bit later and see the balloons from the hotel on our final morning. Breakfast was a buffet with lots of options and with new options every day, all delicious! We were also offered complimentary drinks at the pool throughout the day and always received some fruit in the evening, which were generous and lovely touches. It can be hard choosing accommodation in Göreme as there’s a lot of choice, but I can’t fault anything at this place and would 100% recommend it to anyone!

Absolutely amazing. We had such a fantastic time. The staff did everything they could to make our stay memorable and special. All the staff are so friendly & helpful. All the rooms are amazing and in a cave style, simply beautiful and each room different and tastefully decorated. Breakfast fabulous and plenty of it. The hotel is very clean and well presented. The extra touches & finer details around the hotel are amazing.

I thought the hot air balloon price was a bit steep, The cost of hot air balloon for my wife and I was 230 euros (cash) per person, but 250euros with card per person. I didn't have enough cash so had to use card and pay the 40 euros extra. When i checked outside with some other companies, I was quoted (with same number of people, breakfast, transport to and from the hotel); it was only 120 euros per person cash. Maybe it has to do something with different companies giving different deals and the area that the balloon covers may be different. However, I happen to unexpectedly meet some friends that I knew in the same Hot air balloon (Discovery balloon), when I compared the price with them, they reported what they had paid was 170 euros per person. I am not sure where the discrepancy happened on that. So if others are looking to purchase the hot air balloon ticket; consider checking for prices around before signing up.

I very much enjoyed the location, and the staff. The staff were very friendly, and customer service oriented. Farshad and Arun were fantastic and I would like to thank them for all the help they have done with planning our vacation out. Breakfast was also great!

We stayed at Goreme Cave Lodge for a long weekend in March 2024. The hotel is beautiful with spacious, spotlessly clean rooms, a huge breakfast buffet with good food and lots of choice, and lots of outside space centred around a sun terrace and swimming pool. It's conveniently located for Goreme centre but in a peaceful side street. Throughout our stay, the staff were excellent, especially Murad and Haroon. We had a fantastic visit to Cappadocia, and it is no exaggeration to say this would not have been possible without Murad's help. From facilitating our airport transfers, to warmly welcoming us to the hotel despite an extremely late arrival (early hours of the morning), organising a replacement ski trip to Erciyes with almost no notice (when our previously arranged trip cancelled on us at the night before), booking taxis, and facilitating a late check-out, every request for help was met with warmth, enthusiasm, and a genuine willingness to help. Haroon was also excellent; he took a genuine interest in us and our trip, asking questions, recommending foods and drinks at breakfast, and his attention to detail was wonderful (for example, cleaning and tidying the sun terrace and putting dry cushions out for us when a sunny morning created an opportunity to take some nice photographs overlooking the town). Overall, we had a wonderful stay thanks in large part to the hard work and kindness of Murad and Haroon. They are a credit to the hotel. Thank you!

The service was outstanding, it's one of the few places in Goreme with a pool. The morning breakfast was awesome especially with the freshly made omelet and the Turkish coffee. On a lucky day, you can almost touch the balloons as it passes through the terrace.

The location was ideal (5/6 min walk into centre). The staff were so warm and friendly felt very personal. V Clean , lovely decorated hotel, was more like a boutique ! Great power shower and the restaurant roof terrace had beautiful views of the vistas and the balloons. I wish I had more time to stay and chill at the hotel but my days were very busy and not enough! Much thanks to Murat For all his help and advice and for arranging airport transfers and tour Bookings he was super helpful. The staff there was so fabulous and I must name them and thank them for their warm hospitality. Murat, Haru, Habibe and Bulent I hope to come again !

The staff are quite simply amazing. So attentive and cater to all needs. They know where all there guests are and the timings of all their activities etc and help with room calls etc so you never miss anything. The honeymoon suites built into the cave walls are awesome.

I enjoyed my stay at Gerome Cave Lodge. Farshad and Harun went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay. From booking our trips in advance to carrying our bags on arrival and providing fresh fruit every night. They even provided us with breakfast for our early check out. The location is excellent, within walking distance distance from Gerome city centre. The room itself is quite basic but feels so cosy. The only drawback is the bathroom ventilation (which is expected from a cave suite) Overall, I would definitely recommend Gerome Cave Lodge and looking forward to coming back again P.S. Try the cheese and onion omelette in breakfast. Was so delicious.

The location was just out of the busy zone (like 3 mins walk away). The owner, Mr Bulent and his staff Kursat, was very hospitable and made your stay there a very enjoyable one. Kursat would personally bring fruits to your room every night. Breakfast was a good spread of local Turkish items and they would cook you eggs any way you like. One of the best thing is their roof top where if you wake up at 5am in the morning, you can catch a sky full of hot air balloons! A sight not to be missed! I would definitely return to this place of ever I’m in Cappadocia again!

I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the hotel facilities more and do other activities.

Wow - the Goreme Cave Lodge is truly exceptional. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We booked the Honeymoon suite as we celebrate 40 years of marriage this year and the room was beautifully decorated for us. The staff also arranged the Hot Air Balloon ride, Red Tour and transfers for us and all of these activities were perfectly timed and faultless - Thank you so much :)

The staff is very friendly, polite and helpful, they gave us information about the area, suggested some activities and sites to visit. They continuously checked if we needed any more information or help. The room was clean and spacious. The accommodation is within walking distance to the centre, restaurants, ... Would recommend!

Our experience in this hotel was a treasure. Cappadocia is such a nice place where everyone is friendly and warm, but the hospitality and services at this hotel was exceptional. They booked shuttles for us, free landry, great breakfast and delicious turkish coffee, brought fresh fruits to the room everyday (which helped us a lot not to catch a cold in very packed travel plan:D), and decorated our room for honeymoon mood. On the last day, we had a early morning flight and didn't have time for breakfast, then they gave us a sandwiches and drinks at the departure! Last but not least, the room was super comfortable and the location is just 3 minutes walk from the city center. I highly recommend staying at this place when you visit cappadocia.

We loved our stay in Goreme cave lodge and would 100% recommend anyone coming to Goreme to stay here. From the moment we arrived, everyone was so friendly, helpful and accommodating. Thank you especially to Haroon, who always went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed, and for being such a friendly person to speak to every day. The accommodation itself was fantastic - very spacious and clean, and the roof terrace was a great place to relax with a stunning view over Goreme. It was also easy to walk into the centre of Goreme, and many of the nearby walking routes were also accessible by foot. The breakfast every morning was delicious and with a vast selection of food. Thank you so much for the incredible stay!

We've been travelling across Europe for the past 5 weeks and can say that Goreme Cave Lodge was the best place we stayed at. If you are after a spacious cave room with airconditioning, large bathroom and great shower water pressure, AYCE breakfast buffet (that changes everyday), outdoor pool and the rooftop view of the hot air balloons flying overhead then this is th place to be. The lodge was just off of the main street to ensure that quiet and peaceful environment. The staff here were so warm, friendly and hospitable. Murat was very responsive with messaging and helped us plan our trip by booking our tours and transfers and Haroun went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay and was well-fed. We would like to thank everyone at Goreme Cave Lodge for such a pleasant experience and we hope to see you again soon :)
